When I posted my last message he was -280 at sportsbook, now its off the board

Fields opened around -180 at both pinnacle and sportsbook. Pinny went up to -190 for about 5 minutes and then took it off the board. Sportsbook went to -200 then -280 and now its off the board there.

As I'm typing this 5dimes took it off the board also

Gotta get the openers whenever possible

This has nothing to do with this weekend, so please forgive me. I was just wondering if anyone liked Silence to beat Marquez at +275. To me, this seems like a good play. I also think Oleg to beat S.S.S. at +275 is worth a small shot. What's anyone's take on Reid vs. Mack?

silence vs rafael marquez is an even fight. so any underdog money you can get, I would jump on it.

I think Samil Sam will kayo Maskaev.

I also like Johnny Gonzalez to beat Sor Vorapin this weekend.

If Seldon is in any kind of shape, I am hoping he knocks Tye Fields out. He might be there to take a dive. yes, it still happens.

that`s the best bet on the board,imo....i don`t see pemberton as being as flexible as sheika was....sheika`s a little more well rounded..can move...

all sheika did for the last 5 rounds vs lacy was clinch...and run...not sure that`s pemberton`s style...

pemberton is 6`2" tall...he`s 38 years old....he`s a puncher....

lacy is 5`9" tall....he HAS to cut distance and get inside...

and i was shocked to see that pemberton`s NEVER..... i mean NEVER fought outside new england in his career...NEVER...NADA...

lacy`s a brute...a monster at this weight...

pemberton`s toughest opponents were sheika and an old charles brewer....who knocked his protected ass out...IN new england...

I played the Lacy-Pemb under 8.5 at -105 when it opened...but since I have so much on Lacy straight up I won't be posting that or any other play on the fight.

hardcorecap was at the Pemb-Crawford fight last year and he said Crawford was getting the best of Pemb when the fight was stopped due to a Crawford cut

Pemb is 38 years old, hasn't fought for 12 months and it onlyt went 3 rounds in a fight that he was losing to a scrub.

Pemb has always been slow and at 38, after all the battles, he's slower than ever. It won't take long for Lacy to get inside on a guy who has never used his height to his advantage.

I rarely play -600 odds, and usually don't post it, but in this case I'll lay the wood and recommend it.

Lacy wins...easily

imo, pemberton is a super middleweight gary balletto.....i remember balletto finally fighting a warm body in goyo vargas...and getting his ass whipped...despite the ridiculous new england scorecards....

a protected new england phenom that`s been scared to death to walk outside his own backyard....i guess his people figure that he might as well take the shot before he starts collecting social security....

he says he`s gonna give lacy "angles"....i don`t think that he`d know an angle if one bit him on the ass....

of course,i guess he has a puncher`s chance...he can punch....some...

he could look at the sheika/lacy tape and decide to embarrass himself by clinching and holding ad nauseum....imo,sheika fought lacy like a little bitch...those score cards were a travesty...

i have to think that once the fur starts flying,he`ll do what he does...stand there stiffly and throw punches....

but,it`s possible...as sheika did..that once he feels lacy`s power...his brute strength...he`ll do what sheika did....what sheika had never done before in his career....vs calzaghe...vs glen johnson......fight to survive....

check pemberton`s resume....after sheika and an old charles brewer, who has he fought?....

ancient welterweight glenwood brown?.....

lloyd "jabba" bryan?....

levan easley?

there`s tons of super middles in europe that are competitive....hell,there a slew of them in canada....vanderpool...lucas....but,,,,these guys can fight....

where`s vinnie paz?......even dana rosenblatt fought a little towards the end at super middle....nowhere to be found...at least on pemberton`s reume...

this guy`s nothing special...

box,you have a winner...i have him parlayed myself...

that`s the second time i`ve seen ponce de leon and i`m more convinced than ever that the guy is a joke....

he`s slow...i don`t know who the hell he k.o.`ed....his punches have no snap....

the guy he beat should have destroyed him....he had some skill....he just wasn`t active enough...

de leon just mauled him....

keep an eye on this guy...when he fights a live body...somebody we know...

the guy`s even worse than i first thought....

Nice job this week Spread...congrats

As long as Lacy wins, I don't care how long it lasts

I got the under at -105 and the over is now +150 so I'm in the drivers seat...will deside later

I always said Sheika would give Lacy a better fight than Pemb b/c of the difference in handspeed but Pemb's height advantage combined with him being scared of Lacy's power could make for another very boring yet close fight. However, Lacy will be the aggressor the entire fight so if it goes to the cards in Vegas (not NE) it will go Lacy's way.

I hope Pemb chooses to fight like a man and avoids the Sheika holding tactics. He'd be better off staying on the outside anyway. If he's smart he can give Lacy trouble by staying out of his punching range, but as the rounds go by and Pembs legs slow down...Lacy will catch him.
