taking derrick harmon-300 vs tim littles on the undercard of montell griffin-khalid jones sunday on fox sportsnet....littles was a good super middleweight back in the very early-mid 90`s.....harmon lost once early in his career on a split decision to tall awkward lefty spoiler greg wright(i thought harmon won).....his other losses are to roy jones in 11(didn`t come out for the 11th) and a decision to montell griffin in his last fight....in my eyes, the best light heavy`s right now are jones, michalczewski and griffin, in that order...littles`only losses were k o`s to james toney and liles...the rub here is that littles is 38 years old and hasn`t fought in 6 years!!....why littles is coming back after 6 years,is baffling....what is more baffling is why is he coming back vs a slick, tall lefty contender who fought 4 months ago and should be very sharp....if he is serious about his comeback, why step in tough in your first fight in 6 years?harmon is a very good technical fighter,a lefty,6`0 tall and a clever boxer...and he has had no recent layoffs and should be sharp......add to that the fact that he is handled by the goossen`s who i don`t believe want to take a chance with a contender in his next fight after a loss to TOP contender griffin............i`m wondering if littles went to jail or something....i hate laying the wood, but,a 38 year old coming up a weight class after a 6 year layoff vs a clever lefty contender......i`m baffled unless the guy is in desparate financial straits...i`m trying to get some info on littles situation.......i wouldn`t jump until i find out the deal here....i also like griffin vs a mechanical khalid jones(not nearly as much)....the wood is meant to dissuade you,and it does,somewhat....more on the barrera fight in shrimp`s thread...
