Hope you don't mind me starting the thread early this week buddy

wanted to get the ball rolling here on a few conversations

Who the hell is "Swamp Donkey" Adam Richards and why are the odds so close vs. Witherspoon ? Am I missing something ? Shouldn't Witherspoon win this one?

For tomorrow I am on the dogs (although I consider them the favorites)

MEDIUM Bika
SMALL Bundrage

Let's hope Bika takes this out of the judges hands...

Amidu should give Burns all he could handle on friday.
Burns is not a bad fighter and he has a decent chin but Amidu gave the very tall and classy Funeka all he good handle in south africa lost via MD.
Burns is no way near Funekas level.
This kid is tough and has and decent amateur carrier too. He can bang 16 Kos in 16 fights.
Good enough for me at plus 210. If Burns wins he wins via close probably controversial dec. Any other result is Amidu.
I like Bika too but dont like the location, neutral place and i would bet big on Bika.

I have been extremely unimpressed with Ricky Burns. I would actually be very surprised if he wins Friday.

and as we've seen, Funeka can really fight.

I like Amidu MEDIUM. good call tony.

Ghost-just a little ABC type information. This forum does not have a "king" of thread starters nor does anyone have to get any "authorization" to start any threads. You see something you like/want to discuss, you are 100% within your rights to do so. I will back you all the way in this, and I don't give a rats rear end who doesn't like it.

Good call on Amidu, the line is dropping everywhere, I'm glad that I still got it @+200...

So far, I'm on Bika, Witherspon, Bundrage and Amidu...there is a clip at youtube on Amidu..only padwork and so on, but the kid looks good, but obvisously he is good, as he only lost by MD in Funekas home...

Does anybody know this guy Witherspoon fights!?

BTW, I'm also on Barrett, I think he poses enough of a threat to warant a small play...

St. Clair over 9.5
This guy is tough..played it at -135...I think there might still be some value at -170...I cant believe that the Under for Bundrage and Bika is more than +300...

I'm pulling my hair out in frustration right now. My internet can literally access every site EXCEPT pinnaclesports.com! It freezes every single fukn time! I hate computers! FUUCK!

Im waiting to jump on Cintron striaght, Cintron under, and St Clair over.

Ndou is no Margarito. Cintron foguht his heart out the second time and didnt give up, he got legitmately knocked out after 6 brutal rounds, and has nothing to be ashamed of. Margo absorbed dozens of homerun hits from Cintron and smiled through them, the natural 140lber probably cant take 10.

Cintrons questionable will is exposed by relelntless, mentally tough pressure fighters with strong punches. Ndou is neither of those things. He's a 140lber put into a showcase fight for Cintron. If it goes 9.5 it probably goes 12, Cintron should have this guy out in 6.

Ghost; I think I see where you are coming from. We don't have an "official" weekly thread per se. We can't wait for any one individual to post as what if he takes a week or two off as some have done? What, nothing gets posted? Not everyone chimes in each and every week, so post away!

edit - Thanks muhr for trying the site out for me, as well as anyone else who did.

Through no work of my own, the site FINALLY came up, miraculously.

Im taking Cintron and the under, the St. Clair over, Amidu, Bundrage, and very small bets on the Bika and Bundrage unders, both are well over +300. I caught Witherspoon too late, but I agree with you guys. This thread is really on the ball.

My play would be Bika as I've mentioned a few times, but the location takes me off it.

Can you guys do me a favour, and try www.pinnaclesports.com, then report back if it works or not?

That specific site has always went slow for me, but after refreshing a few times, it worked. Now it's been down completely for several days. I can access it using one of those proxy sites, but I don't know if they're safe, and don't want to put my password in. Weepaul, you're in Canada as well, can you please check the site and tell me if it loads for you?

I usually get a reply from their customer service in 30 minutes, its been about 3 hours now, no reply. Odd times.

The last thing I want to do is call my ISP and ask them why I can't connect to an online gambling site.

i'm in canada and it works for me although it has been slow lately.

Since this is the weekend thread, we should include the Taylor/Lacy fight. Aside from the brazen soul of gardenweasel, it seems the consesus is that Taylor eats him up.

The KO line isn't as high as I wanted, if I have a great weekend I might lay the chalk -450, I'm just worried that this gets too friendly between former Olympic teammates. Taylor is a nice guy too.

edit - The Holt/Torres line opened recently, I took Torres +175. The main advantage here for Holt is the location, Holt's head won the last fight, not his fists. This is another close one.

NJ I am VERY concerned about Taylor playing nice with Lacy

So much so that I may be off of the KO prop

I was thinking Taylor by brutal KO for weeks now BUT

Taylor has really let me down in the past...the dude just falls asleep in there....

this is a tough fight to bet....one guy totally shot and the other guy a complete under achiever.....

I want to see how I do tonight before making a final decision here...if Bika and/or Bundrage hits, I may get brave on the KO prop or the under....

EDIT: weepaul makes a good point in the other thread regarding Lacy's eyes. If he gets hit with enough jabs- they could stop this thing regardless....hmmmmm

Here's a shocker:

UBR.com picks Ndou by decision or late stoppage! They typically take the obvious side then boast their high prediction ratio, but that's going out on a big limb. The other guy to trouble Cintron was Teddy Reid, in the way Margo did: Power punching, great chin, pressure, mentally tough, can't be discouraged. Cintron was inches away from breaking down and giving up, but he got through it. How is N'Dou going to emulate that?

Im going to watch the Bika open workout on FH youtube. Maxbox also has a Oscar workout vid up. I don't think Oscar has to do anything but show up, but it's still worth watching.

I want to see Bika's conditioning level, that's what wins him this fight. I was extremely impressed with Joe's open workout and not at all by Roy's, but I didn't act on it and got whooped by the books as a result.

good points Ghost and Weepaul about Lacy's eyes. Do you know if Lacy's corner is the same as his corner vs Calzaghe?

If that's the case, there's no way they pull him out. He almost died vs Zag but they left him in. If he looks in trouble, the only person that is going to stop it is the ref (possible), the corner (impossible), or an angry Taylor (unlikely).

I agree if things go well it's worth a play, but the intangibles make this fight difficult to bet, thoguh it looks easy on paper.
