"the bunker"
saw arnaarnaoutis at -111......now at -129....i was impressed by torres` toughness vs cotto.....

but, he has no defense....will arnaoutis be a little to slick?...with that lefty stance?..a slight height advantage.... and new-found power?....

the competition leans to arnaoutis...he hung with urango(i thought he won that fight....and urango`s fighting hatton in january if boxrec is correct)...

torres is an offensive buzzsaw....he could blow out mike.....but,i like the way arnaoutis has progressed....

alm.....viloria`s fallen asleep in more than just one fight....

he`s not consistent....but,he`s been good enough(until romero)to compensate....

he`d better focus here...because romero knows he can beat viloria....

one thing that struck me in the first fight was that viloria looked like much the stronger guy....naturally bigger...

we`ll see...

this is a damned fine ppv show...

Guess he is promoting this. He hasnt given us an undercard like this in years.

Looks like Morales is having a tough time making weight. He wouldnt even show himself at the press conference yesterday.

And furthermore, Arum blacked out the Mayweather-Baldomir fight here last week. Thank the Lord for that! Those greedy sanitary napkins expect us to trek down to every local venue and pay for their slimy seats. Lets see if they do it again.:nono:

Anyone have any idea what time the weigh in is today? I'd like to hear thoughts on how Morales looks before I decide to throw any money on him. I watched that countdown last Saturday and Morlaes looked horrible during the weigh in for the 2nd fight. And we all know the end result.

Box is Ornelas over Soliman a value play or something of another nature? Basically quick opinion if you have time. Thanks.

Morales-129! Holy moley! What's up with that? Is he drained or ready? I have no clue. Manny looks better, but that is normal. Morales always looks like he could use a meal. My first instinct says Manny by KO, but I wonder if that isn't a square play.

I think Ornelas has a decent chance of winning

Both guys are promoted by Goossen Tutor so there's no promotional advantage here.

However

Ornelas has a 4.5" height advantage, he's fighting in his back yard...possible home cookin', and he's 26 while Soliman is 33.

Obviously this is not a lock, but given these advantages for Ornelas I'll take a small shot at the big + money

This line at 5dimes is way too high...

Romero by 12 round decision +450 (over Viloria)

I already have Romero straight so unless I get a chance to buy out of the straight bet I won't be posting a play on this prop. If I can buy out of the straight bet I'll lay .20 to win .90 on Romero by 12 rd decision +450

Viloria is the bigger guy here coming down from 112, Romero fought at 105 early in his career and he's not much of a puncher at 108. If Romero wins it should be by decision, that was the result of their first fight so I see plenty of value in this +450 prop

Yep +450 is great value. I think this fight will be alot more competitive though, Viloria look abit disinterested last time.

I took the over 10.5 at -120

i think Morales is basically a shot fighter now(still good just not what he use to be). Just to many bruising fights for him. He has been a joy to watch but after all those tough fights it has to take a toll.

ornelas was a solid wager at those odds....

he was very sharp early...i think the cut messed with his mind...he seemed to lose focus....

i thought that the scoring was off,and that the knockdown was bogus, but, ornelas had a solid game plan.....but seemed to get rattled by the cut...

i don`t know what to think of soliman...he`s hard to get your head around....

but he`s tough as nails and has great stamina...

a good wager my man....the logic was right on..

anybody think it`s either manny by stoppage or eric by decision?.....

morales hasn`t been stopping guys at the higher weight...and i think he`ll go back to what worked in the first go round...yes,it was a war...but alot of solid boxing by morales...

i think pacquaio`s coming for one thing.... to finish morales...

I keep thinking exactly the same thing. As I posted 3 months ago, I think Morales looks good first 5-7 rounds, then the wear and tear takes its toll. A smart fight by Pac is a winner. If Morales gets Manny to fight his fight, it may not be so pretty. I think Pac by KO+165 is my play. I just am hesitant as Morales came in at 129. Is he THAT ready? Or is he that drained? A safer play is Minnesota to win tonite over Avs.
