hey brother.....some weekend,eh?.....

haven`t seen much mention on the board regarding chambers/brock or marquez/juarez.....

tough,dangerous fights for all concerned.....i thought fightwriter`s write-up of marquez/juarez was almost perfect......maybe the best column he`s written(that i`ve seen)......

i lean chambers and marquez(both probably by decision),but,you never know.....

it`s ashamed that juarez is so economical with his punches,because, if he could find it within himself to be more aggressive in this fight,i think he could maybe force macho marquez into a bit of a shoot-out.....and i think,given his youth,his power and his excellent whiskers,he might just be able to upset the applecart....

but,i expect him to not do enough and let marquez jab and combo his way to a decision......

chambers has impressed me..but he did struggle with guinn a little.....brock`s seen much better quality opposition,and if this is 12,he`s thebetter puncher and maybe could start to get to chambers in the later rounds....

but again,i`m not crazy about brock`s work ethic and he could get outhustled.....that`s sounds more likely,imo.....

curious to hear more opinions....

man......i saw your weigh-in comment and i checked boxingnews and saw that brock outweighed chambers by 28 pounds?......and looks a good 2 inches taller,imo.....

whew.....over 12,that could wear on a guy that depends on quicks and really doesn`t punch all that well....

lemme check those brock odds out...

Chambers looked good. fundamental sound, good chin, fast hands, very accurate punches fights very relaxed.
Still very young. A little more power would be great but you cant have everything.

What takes that ****er so long btw ?

what a fricking decision......wtf fight were those guys watching?...and i was worried that brock might quit.....


got in himmel!!!(thats for my bud,tony....lol)that was ridiculous.....if that had gone to brock,i may have nibbled on the barrel of my .38....

brock threw punches but they were totally ineffective.....no snap...nothing...chambers chased him around like a little girl.....it was obvious that brock was resigned to the loss by around the 8th round....

almost as bad as old james jen ken missing that obvious ouma low blow on telemundo........

i feel the bile building up....i hope we don`t get any of this b.s. tomorrow...

That dec was scary, but alot of guys had this fight super close. I mean look at Broks face he didnt look so busted up against Wladimir.
Chambers looked more mature and stronger and in charge in that fight.
And i disagree that tis fight was boring, i was a good solid Hw fight with both guys giving an effort.
Where will Povetkin vs Chambers take place ?
Curious for the odds for this one.
