Nice. I seen it at +125, waited 15 minutes whille I scoped it out and it dropped like an anvil.

wow youre right, it just fell to +107.

i just read a preview by fightwriter.com, who makes his own lines. for huerta/alicea, he has:

over 9.5 -140, under 9.5 +120

all the books have it the opposite. his lines are typically on par with bookies, i havent been tracking his credibility. ill look into this one, see who has it right.

about Drew vs Green, a forum i browse is heavily backing Drew by close decision, i found him at +161. mind you it's a boxing forum, not a betting forum, so it's less reliable.

Yea, that's a tough one, for me at least. Maybe I seen Green once. We'll have to wait for the other "deadbeats" we have around here to check in!

Thought I'd temporarily remove my deadbeat status and chime in- I have to say, the Linares-Diaz over is the first and maybe only bet that caught my eye. Linares seems the type to box and assess his opponents for a bit before breaking the down, like the faded Larios. Diaz should be cagey enought to hang halfway into the eighth, so I'm with you. Hopefully, Linares won't come in possessed like Guerrero did and throw hellacious body shots from his heels during Diaz rematch. This bet was available at Pinnacle at +167 which of course does us USA folks no good.

I like this parlay- Huerta, Salido, with the Ghost to be sitting on Pavlik at -120 on 2/16/08. A date I can't wait for here in Vegas. Ringside plans for that one.

I've seen Green 4x and Drews 3x. It's an even match. I'm leaning to Drews because he's got the best trainer in the world at the moment in his corner, Michael Timms. He makes the best out of his boxers (Chagaev, Arslan, Drews).

Green hits hard, but can be outboxed. Drews can box. He stands very tall and has a good reach. The main thing that's got me worried is the home town advantage. Although I'm Australian, I wouldn't say that Australia is the home of fair scoring. Certainly on the undercards its pretty criminal.

If I bet, it will be on Drews straight. Pretty small though. Hardly any value there.

Slim pickins this week...I don't particularly like 11 1/2 for an over wager but this one has 12 written on it. I've seen Green a couple times. I haven't seen Drews but he looks to be a rangy boxer who's a bit defensive minded. Green has 22 kos in 24 wins but I'd be very surprised to see him get this calibre of fighter out of there. Drews hung in w/the very tough Briggs. The wager is -170.

Punchy; you are cleared of all charges! Stations had Pavlik -170. I waited 20 minutes and it leaked up to -185. I'm going to MGM and maybe Caesars to see what's what today. On rematches, I lean toward the winner of the last fight. Taylor doesn't give 2 poops here. He is NOW looking at Calzaghe. A sign of a guy on his way down the ladder of success. This may last more rounds though. Palms used to post lots of boxing lines. I don't know anymore. I'll probably be at Southpoint today around 3 or 4PM. Not sure yet.

MGM had Pavlik -165. I smacked it a little. Linares-Diaz has leaked up to-135@ 5Dimes; -120 @sportsbook. Not that it is a sure winner, but it gives one a warm feeling.

I opted not to place the over wager on Green/Drews...too many rds for something to happen. If Green gets a fire lit under his ass he could possibly take drews out w/his good power.

I jumped on board on the over for Linares/Diaz @-110. Robert Guerrero fought with alot of intensity in the rematch and was hell bent on getting the ko v Diaz. Like Punchy alluded to, Linares likes to box and slowly break down his opponents. He's not the type to go in and take big risks for the early ko. I also like the fact that Diaz fought a very tough SD in his last go w/Rojas. I think this is a good bet on a very slim week. I have 1100 down to win 1k even for my only wager this week. Good luck everybody!

its funny, i onyl had 11$ left in my account when i played the over at +127. a few days later, the under was +127!

that would've been a killer scalp.

looks like we're all on the same side tonight!

Here's a thought for a hedge that could turn out nicely..... a lot of people do think that the gifted Linares will eventually stop Diaz. Take about half your bet on the over 7.5 and parlay Linares inside with Marco Huck in a couple weeks( After some Youtubing- I don't see Cunningham winning in Germany) In the event that Linares is fired up and gets it done earlier than we all anticipated, you've got some of your loss back on the 29th when Huck handles USS. Obviously what I'm hoping for here is a Linares stoppage from 1:31 of round 8 on and that is by no means unlikely. Then you win the original over 7.5 bet and are now sitting on Huck at a nice number. And just for fun a I took some beer money and parlayed a Linares decision(+285) with Matsusada by stoppage(+205) (he did it once) for a 10x payout. Best of luck.
C'mon Linares, 10th round KO!!!!!!!!!

Congrats to the over bettors and congrats to anyone who grabbed Linares inside as suggested for a nice double dip.
