Box- you didn't think Urbano Antillon was money? As they said in Swingers- He is so money. -260 was a steal, -350 isn't bad, at least parlay material

Didn't he get knocked out by Valero in sparring? I saw a clip about 1 yr back and I believe it was Antillon...could be wrong but I don't think so.

What do you think about Gulyakevich by decision at +600?

Negative. Antillon sparred 3 rounds with Valero. He got the worst of it but he did land some himself.

My bad then...don't like to give out wrong info. I'm going on the word of others here and going w/Antillon. I missed the boat on the good odds but wagered a decnt amt to win 3 hund. I saw Valdez twice...he lost to Dunne (who I was never high on) and The Ghost beat him up for 12. He hung in tough but had little on his punches to move Guerrero. GL everybody.

I played Antillon at -325 with full intentions of scalping, I knew the line would move in a big way, unfortunatly I missed the opener. Valdez is now +588 at 5dimes so I should scalp it, but I'm having second thoughts

Layed 975 to win 300...now I could lay 150 to win 880 setting up a risk 95 to win 150 scenario...or I could lay 100 to win 588 setting up a risk 387 to win 200 on Antillon

That would be the smart thing to do but I feel like I would just be giving money back to the books for no reason, decisions...decisions...

Btw, I didn't post my play due to my scalping intentions

How's this for a personal parlay...

Jacksonville -800
USC -500
Malignaggi Over -475
Spinks -500
Chagaev -985..................+117 odds

You could throw in Florida -440 to makle the odds even nicer but I already have enough riding on them in other parlays

Yea- no doubt, I'm right there with you , debating the last minute scalps and tossing in a few. A little covering when you've got that much out there with that much of a line change is probably very smart in the long run. I'll end up doing a little parlay Valdez at +600 along with the Hide under just 35 bucks brings back like 300.

Speaking of the Herbie Hide fight guys, help me out here. The under is 9.5 at -290 at best. If Hide has been in a total of 44 fights, and just one has gone the distance(10 rounds) when he was up at heavy weight, and only one fight has reached the 9th, and just one has reached the 8th, aren't thing really looking good to tap that under? Percentage-wise big time! If we slam the Antillon fight tonight, maybe we should get going on that under.

You may be right Romi, I did read a writer recently who said that Antillon was starched sparring Valero, but that's not necessarily a very bad thing considering the absolute dynamite in Valero's fists.

Thx for the tip on Antillon! I wouldn't have made the wager if not for a few posters here. I missed the early good odds but still had a decnt profit.

2-0 this week. 1 more week to go on what has been an amazing year. Many thx to all that post here!

I thought the two Ruskie types going at it in Italy on Saturday show aggresive enough styles to make a small play on the under 9.5 +145. Also a play on the Hide under..

Thanks Tony....Congrats Zerwas

A big thanks to punchy and a few others for pushing the Antillon winner. As posted, I planned on scalping that fight until the boys showed their confidence in the play. The boxing end of this forum is unbelievable, some of the best out there for sure. When we work togethor its almost scary, lets keep it rolling into next year. A merry x-mas and happy new year to you all

take care and gl

Yep, a merry chrismas and a happy new year to all the madjack members.

:)

BTW, Hide looked really good, he's still quick and strong and poses a threat to ony cw out there.
The Russian kid was tough and willing but Hide was simply too strong.
