Well, what do we have here? The "ghost" Guerrero is on the way up, no question. He fought just 2 months ago to take the IBF ( I be felonious) feather crown. But more telling to me was a loss he avenged to Diaz. Went after him with reckless abandon and took him out. This Salido guy is an enigma to me. Five bouts ago he goes the distance with Juan Marquez. He loses. He then, get this, fights Soto who is the former President of the " Bum of the month Club". Then he gets in REALLY tough with a guy who had NO fights. Amazingly, he won! Well, I'll be dipped in shit. He does go on the beat Rogers Mtagwa, but then he fights another guy with a 1-1-0 record. WTF!. Sounds like boxing is and afterthought for this guy, kind of similiar to afterbirth. Guerrero, does not follow this style of boxing. So, what I see is Guerrero, on PPV no less, wanting to imprint his name in people's minds. Salido will run, but can he hide? In his early fights Ghost was winning by decision for the most part. He has the new found confidence to believe he can put guys to sleep. Is 10.5 rounds enough? I kind of feel it could be, but I ain't 100% yet.
