+270 is my logic for putting a SMALL wager on Sanchez. Oly opened it at +160 and I was tempted to hit it then, so when the line peaked I took it. Right now he's around +250.
Guzman is 3 inches taller, 7 years younger, and has plenty of power. But he only has 20 professional fights, and only 5 of those were against descent competition. He hasn't fought anyone in the top class of his division, let alone a crafty sometimes dirty southpaw with power who was once a champion and has a ton of experience against the best fighters in the world.
And don't forget they are fighting for the title that was stripped from Sanchez two years ago when he was diagnosed with cataracts. Something tells me that pisses him off a little and will add to his motivation, from what I've heard he's in excellent shape.
Sanchez stopped Oscar Larios who is definitly one of the best in
the division, and won a unanimous decision over Javier Jauregui.
He fought to a 6 round technical draw with Manny Paquiao and had 2 points deducted for low blows. Without the point deductions he would have won a split decision with one judge having him up by 4 rounds. And don't worry about Sanchez chin, he has only been stopped once (Cesar Soto) and has gone the distance with big punchers like Barrera and Marquez.
This should be a very close fight if Sanchez can keep it clean and not get critical points taken away. Guzman's lack of experience against top competition combined with Sanchez being an awkward southpaw with power and a load of experience made the +270 too good to pass up.
