what happened to the Davis fight ? I can't find anything on it anywhere ?

Sorry for the delay in responding

Don King and the usual politics of boxing got in the way

The Davis camp claims DK wouldn't send them a contract to sign untill they signed a promotional agreement. Davis no longer wants to be controlled by King so he refused to sign it.

King claims he sent the contract for that fight and the contract for the fight against the winner of Mormeck-Braithwaite but never got a response to either. King didn't mention anything about the promotional agreement that Davis claims is the real problem.

I'm sure there's a lot of things we don't know, and the truth lies somewhere in the middle of both sides of the story. But it all comes down to greed and politics getting in the way of a great fight...again.
