My play is round prop-UNDER 8.5-135. Briefly, Solis hasn't seen anything the likes of Pac-man. He has been in easy with the usual suspects. Namely, creampuffs, marshmellows, lollipops, and the occasional tomatoe can. When Manny goes to work and steps it up in high gear, Solis will be overwhelmed. He is going to chop this boy down. I feel 8.5-135 may even be a tad generous. GL.

Soto-Solis Fight Ends in No Contest

Updated: 1:22 a.m. ET Sept 18, 2004
LAS VEGAS - ""Humberto Soto's super featherweight bout with Mexican countryman Jorge Solis was declared no contest Friday night after Solis' cut from an accidental head butt became too bad for the fight to continue.

The scheduled 10-round fight was stopped after the third round, with Soto leading 29-27 on two of the three judges' scorecards and 30-26 on the third.

Soto, ranked third among featherweights by the WBC, dominated the abbreviated bout, knocking down Solis with a left to the head in the third round.

Soto is 35-5-2, and Solis 25-0-2. Both fighters weighed in at 129 pounds.""

seems to bolster your analysis.....

Guys talk lots of smack as we well know. Now Solis says he will KO Pacquiao. Really, this guy I doubt has the pop in his punches to do this. He says he will also use his height and reach to outbox him, AKA, run like hell. I hope he gets froggy and tries to leap. This tactic tends to allow for carelessness and leaves a guy open. Talk is Pacquiao can drop this guy at will, but may want to give the crowd some sparring rounds so they get their moneys worth. If so, I'd think after 7 rounds Manny says enough is enough and takes it to the house. I'm hoping so.

Solis the "killer"

Solis the "killer"

Solis is being referred to as the unbeaten "Mexican dynamo". Well, if I got in the ring with a bunch of blind 90yr. olds, I might go 32-0-2 also. What happens when across from you is a world class banger, that can SEE! Arum is paying the media to hype this horseshit fight so he can get his Top Rank PPV going and slip the salami you know where. And if we don't buy it on fight nite, NO recast the following week as HBO does. If there isn't some premeditated monkey business going on, Solis gets CRUSHED!

Well, my parlay lost as usual, but my UNDER did not. I always bet less on the parlays to bring down the odds, so some $ was made.

boy i tell ya it was like someone told him to take a dive in round eight. I don't even think he got hit the second knockdown and then he just lays there like he is dead.

Yea, I feel terrible about that myself. I wanted to contact 5Dimes and ask them if they thought I deserved to get paid on the play. I thought about it and realized I would'nt do that EVER as long as I breath air on this earth!:mj07:

First, thanks Frank for the pick as I put a little on it myself...

Second of all, I could see Solis wearing out, but it was like he must have totally gassed (or something)...

Either way, it was all good.:00hour

Glad you pick up a few sheckels. Lets see if we all can't figure out the next set of contests.
