Allright, what's the deal here? Round prop, UNDER 7.5-150. Now we all know Gamboa is a KO artist. A little wild; gets hit when he should'nt, but is a gifted physical specimen/ ultra aggressive with an 85% KO ratio. Rojas, according to info available is almost 38 years old. For the past 3 years fights once a year. Last "fight" was versus a a 1-9-1 powerhouse that lost his last 5 in a row. Before that he fights Chris john, not know for a truly high KO ratio(50%). He drops this guy twice, rds. 2&4, but Rojas goes the distance. Before that in 2006, fights another world beater, 0-6-2, and scores an impressive 2nd round KO. If Gamboa touches this guy he should put him away. I guess because he fought John twice, and Caballero, whom he KO'd in 2003, he is expected to go some rounds. As long as somebody hits somebody, I don't give a rats rear end. Gamboa has been very active and Primm is his home away from home. I went with the under.

Be careful with this; according to Graham: "Although Rojas was down twice, my understanding is that the first knockdown was more of a slip, while the second time Rojas’s gloves touched the canvas after he got caught by a right hand: It wasn’t as if he got heavily floored.".

Be careful with this; according to my sources, these were off balance kds; Rojas wasn't anywhere close to being hurt.

Yes, Graham mentioned this in his preview as well. John get's more hometown treatment than anyone. I thought JMM clearly beat him.
I wouldn't be surprised if both knockdowns were slips or pushes.

That being said, I think Gamboa wins ITD.

Yea, I feel like I'm being sucked in here, but fights garbage, once a year, and a fairly old dude at that. I am always having doubts a guy that fights a real smuck, than has to get in VERY tough. Especially when the last creampuff he fought was a year ago, versus an active, young, up and comer being groomed for a title. Oh well, we'll see later on tonite!
