Play here is OVER 8.5-140. I honestly see this as an overlay a little. Spinks has like 12 KO's in 30 some odd fights. He obviously WON'T go after Taylor too tough. He will try to box and be elusive. I also think Taylor will get some rounds in. Cory is bulked up to like 162 lbs. this week. Of course, a guy could get fancy and play this and also Taylor inside-155. I am just a tad perplexed as to why JT is fighting a blown up welterweight at all. Manny Steward says Taylor could have taken a number of easier fights, but chose to put it all on the line here!!! I like Steward, but give me a freakin break. Taylor is in tough here? And my bro the box-meister, has Spinks on the points prop and Taylor by decision, which serves only to substantiate my position. i cant see how even if Taylor comes in with the flu he somehow loses this fight. This is one to lay the big odds. This isnt the MMA with an upset possible.
Personally, I almost never lay more than 3-1 odds, as it is a real bitch to recover from losses at those numbers. I would'nt even bet Johnson-430 tonite. I look for a round prop of some kind rather than fight big prices. By all accounts, Taylor should dispense with Cory "I am really a welterweight" Spinks inside the disrance. Seems like a situation where Spinks' corner throws in the towel or a ref stoppage. Or if you LOVE Taylor, maybe a parlay with something else to bring the odds down. GL.
Seen guys like box do that with parlays and since you suggested that i think im gonna do it with a few basketball games i know im gonna like. I just can't see how Taylor can lose and he is due for an impressive win. If this was any other sport i wouldn't do this laying the odds with a heavy favorite but boxing to me is different when you have a great fighter or a very good one. I think he barely if anything was 1-1 with Hopkins but to me Hopkins is the best technical fighter in the world back then. I can't even see a lucky punch here.
Even a lucky punch might not do it. Spinks has trouble cracking an egg. One boxing scribe suggested Spinks may get put to sleep inside of 5 rounds. Best of luck in whichever way you decide to play this.

i just layed the jack. I feel im a huge dog wagerer and if Taylor lays an egg my heavy odds betting will be over. this one to me just screams to be to easy. This isnt like other sports were a refs decision will kill me. The judges i have to worry about but i don't see this fight going to the end.
I lean in that direction also; especially since Spinks, had to drop a little weight! Hope you nail it!

box first it was all the negative stuff they kept saying about spinks that had me worried before the fight. Next you are right i see KIng marching with him but the worst was when i saw two of the guys who did the Toney fight with Peters the first fight which i thought toney won a close fight. I thought taylor won but this was a Brutal fight. I knew Emanuel was gonna give it to him in the last round but if i lost this i wouldn't have been surprised. Taylor finally opens up in the last round which was real strange. Something i did notice is it looked like Taylor had a lot of respect for Spinks lack of power. Just a confusing fight but the guy is tough to hit but if Taylor works harded he probably gets him. How Spinks thinks he won was strange. Maybe if neither was a champ but cmon he hardly did anything. And the judge who had it 117 /111 Spinks lol. I thought his Buddy was gonna get me. Honestly if this line was 2 to one instead of eight to one i think i would have lost this. I really believe that Pavlik will be an easier fight for Taylor. Kid got a super chin but he comes straight forward which i think is Taylor made for Taylor. I don't see that one going more than 7. Probably the hardest 500 i ever made in my life lol. Might have lost a year of life also. I think im just gonna watch the sopranos now and see Toney bang that hot brunette again. Sometimes people ask me if i want something if they have it. Actually im not big on stuff like that but it is nice to have them handy just in case. Now i live with a buddy and he is a complete mess when it comes to stuff like that. You can't give him anything. I have to deny i have anything. You give him ten Percs and they are gone in three days. I got one of those one hiters with weed in it from three years ago still in it lol. I just refilled it the other night. Im thinking of taking a few pulls of it now. I never developed a habit with these type of things but man i have seen some guys that are terrible around stuff. Can i get arrested talking about this? Hey Sponge; Taylor is f**cking scary. Fights like a scared rabbit. You must have been breathing pretty heavy last nite! When managers get over-protective, fighters get too cautious. I don't know. Steward was funny as hell. He was jumping all over JT to punch to no avail. Calzaghe will demolish this no punching wonder. Versus Pavlik it may be different. He will stand and trade. Taylor needs a stationary target it seems. Maybe it's none of my business, but mentioning certain "things", that may be incriminating anywhere, anytime may be imprudent. You seems like a good guy so I mention this in good faith.

Frank actually im so use to gambling a win and a loss feel the same most times. I just don't get Taylor anymore. Guy use to be a killer but it looks like he just doesn't have that lkiller instinct anymore. It could also be Spinks style that was the whole problem. I still like him because at least he will try to fight. I know one thing i hope to god Mayweather and Spinks don't ever fight. Ill take your advice with good faith but drugs are like gambling.
