It looks like Barry Morrison has dropped out of the SKY fight Friday.

Nigel Wright is the new opponent for Ajose Olusegun.

Guerrero/Clottey parlay. Haven't seen a line on Guerrero, but he is the real deal. And Clottey is a good value. Cotto ain't gettin any gift here. He is going to have to be at his best. Clottey by SD.

This fight is still a week off, but it looks like the VERSUS network has picked up Diaconu vs. Pascal in Canada, Friday June 19th.

Hope this is true - I think this will be a great fight.

How did that one sneak in under the radar? I didn't even read about a preposed match. Damn good fight for Versus or any network for that matter.

My plays so far...

My plays so far...

Parlay- Burgos -340 + Palacios -225 -Large(=-115)

Guerrero v. Hinojosa Under 6.5-165- Medium
Hinojosa is long in the tooth (age 37) and going to drain himself making 130. He has not been at 130 since 1997 and the guy is relatively tall (5'9"). The Ghost is going to want to impress while fighting basically at home (Gilroy is 30 mile from San Jose) and make up for his poor showing there from his last fight.

Palacios v. Ramirez Under 8.5 -105- Medium
Both guys are have power especially for this weight class. Both guys have been down multiple times in their fights especially Ramirez whose was down 4 times this Feb against Donnie Nietes. Palacios should finish Ramirez by the middle rounds if not earlier.

I think that the Ghost is going to DESTROY Hinojosa. I hate laying that big a price for only 6.5 rounds, but I can't imagine that guy going very long at 130 with Guerrero.
Robert was perplexed last time out by the Indonesian's speed and movement. This old man is exacty the opposite. He's going to stand right in front of him.

Thinking about this more....I can't imagine they are going to make Hinojosa cut to 130.

He only took the fight the last couple days....It is probably in the contract that he can fight at 132 or something like that.

He's going to get killed regardless.

You are probably right about them allow 132 instead of 130. It should be interesting to see the weights and the weight in photos tomorrow.

Graham from Fightwriter.com reports that:
The fight with Hinojosa is made at the lightweight limit of 135 pounds.

That makes a lot more sense than boxrec.com's super feather weight listing of 130.

Oh well, I still think ?The Ghost? makes quick work of the ?Huracan?. :D

Did anyone catch the fights on VS. tonight?
There were no betting lines, but it was the first broadcast in Golden Boy's new "Los Angeles Fight Club Night" series.

In the main event, Rodela won a split over Garcia in a 6 rounder.
They awarded him the "Quaker State Durability World Championship" belt after the decision.
:142smilie :142smilie :142smilie :142smilie

It was literally a world title belt with the QUAKER STATE logo across the front!
:mj07: :mj07: :mj07: :mj07:

I've never seen a more ridiculous belt....
