Well, I realize Klits has seen the better opposition, but after his last fight with "Barney Rubble", aka, Ibragimov, I am taking a shot with Thompson. Klits just looked like a deer caught in headlights when he fought the munchkin Ibrag. Fought like he was SOOOO afraid. At least that's how it looked to me. Thompson is 6'5" so he is a big southpaw and a body and fender man. I am going to play Tony the tiger to win INSIDE +793.

It's walking a tightrope whenever betting on Klit. You just never know when he'll implode. An agressive fighter that isn't afraid to get into the mix always has a chance. Thompson to me appears to be a bit too laid back. This one is intriguing but has the makings of a snoozer. There's alot of value in nearly +800 odds but I'm thinking the over might be a decent play and I'm considering it @+ odds. Good luck.

i corresponded on this bout with box about a month ago...before the line came out.......i grabbed thompson at +500 and change...

admittedly,i was a little disappointed in his lack of speed vs krasniqi, but,i liked his commitment to the body work....

the height shouldn`t really be an issue...what is it,an inch and a half?...maybe 2?...guys this tall, that`s not a big issue...and i know that thompson has a very formidable reach....

what i`m curious about is the jabs....usually the righty/lefty match-up nullifies both guy`s jab....and that will change the whole dynamic of this fight,imo...

who`s gonna miss that jab the most?....will the lefty stance be a big issue?....i do remember corrie sanders having success in their go round...

home court is huge...no doubt....

but i never in my wildest dreams expected to see thompson at better than 5 and change to 1.....

klit deserves to be the fave...i thought he`d be maybe -350......seriously,i thought that would be about it...

he may just be a little to quick for thompson...but,those odds are g-e-n-e-r-o-u-s.......

I agree with Romi in that if a guy is VERY aggressive he has the proverbial "punchers" shot versus Klits. No way I lay the lumber on Klits SU. We have been seeing some totally incredible outcomes lately. I mean Tye Fields -300 whacked in 57 seconds. Soto gets mugged. Torres-Holt in 1:01 of rd 1. Lots more. It's just I could not understand why Klits was such a scared bitch versus Sultan Ibrag. He could/should have demolished that guy. At any rate, it could be a snoozer or very dramatic. I'm waiting for the REAL action. Marquez-Casamajor and Judah-Clottey along with Cotto-Margarito. Punches will be thrown in all of these fights. Lots. S&G's here with this one. Oh yea, Arum is trying to make Pavlik-Williams? WTF! Wiliams stands NO chance. Pavlik is NOT Quintana or that fading chap Margarito.

Tough call.

I would load up on Thompson at those odds, if he was in the ring with anybody else.

Thompson really is a good fighter, but I'm not so sure, if he matches up well with Klitschko.

Right now, I just dont know, but I agree that the odds on Thompson and the over look tempting.
Maybe I'll go with klitschko by decision...

After rewatcing some vids of Thompson I'm not so sure if I like the over anymore.

If Thompson is a stationary target, Wlad will be able to land his right hand...

I dont think he can employ that hit and move style of Iggy.

I dont see a ko by Thompson either, he's just not a big puncher.

I like his commitment and ring intelligence though...

Thompson is the pick for me. He has value and has a real shot to win. He's a very relaxed fighter that subtly imposes his will. He's a good body puncher and fights well in close for a big man. I don't think he'll be awed by the moment and has prepared himself well. :walk:

Sure Klitschko could bang him out - he hits hard but I think Thompson's right jab can present problems for Wlad. In spite of Wlads talent and physical gifts, I don't think he's ever too relaxed or comfortable in the ring. I could imaging him folding if fatigue sets in. I think Thompson will shock Klitschko inside the distance.:0corn

**notes Kramden posted before the fight started** j/k

I have never been sold on Wlad, but the guy has cost me some money betting against him recently. I am not pulling up now. It is the dog or nothing for me.

I have a small wager on Thompson at +550. You never know when Wlad is going to be "Poisoned" and unexpectedly run out of gas. It has happened twice before.

Good luck.
