wow Tureano shocked Quigley

Johnson looked bad last time out, but was never a fan of Quigley. I thought if the Johnson that fought Stevens/Dere.. showed up, Quigley could be in some trouble. With that said, it was way more dominating than I would have thought.

For anyone who is interested, we have a contest in our newest podcast for the Pacman/Thurman and Ramirez/Hooker fight next weekend. I want to try and have a contest for every big fight, but with these two being so close together, made them both into one. How to enter and what to pick is in the podcast, so if anybody is interested in entering, please feel free to do so. If anybody cares to leave a review on Apple Podcasts, that would be appreciated as well.

Good luck on the over. I think it should land and Rivas has some value 10-12 by stoppage. If he's going to win, I think it's there.

Some plays I made today, whether it was in a parlay, outright, based on value or odds:

Thurman (+140)
Thurman by KO/TKO/DQ (+600)
Figueroa by decision (+650)
Plant by KO/TKO/DQ (-170)
Chisora (-350)
Nery by KO/TKO/DQ (-500)
Plant (-1600)

I didn't post it, but got Price by KO at +200. Thought I was doomed there.

Rivas rounds 10-12 at +2500 looks worth a hail mary.

Hats of to Manny. I thought Thurman was leading me into a big night. Still came out ahead, but disappointing.

Hate to say it, but really odd how Manny has looked the best in years against his toughest opponent in years.....makes me wonder....

this new era of PBC alumni fighters... jacobs, thurman, broner...

they're mostly talk, very little show, and they don't turn it up to risk 100%, their passion is for spotlight and money, not real prize fighting it seems

greats like Pernell wanted to be great and became

I can't put Thurman and Broner in the same sentence. Thurman came to fight last night and showed heart, after the terrible start and being hurt to the body in the 10th round bad. I scored it 114-113 Pac, and 115-112 Pac is understandable as well to me.

I like Pac, I think he's had a great career and has been great for the sport. I don't see how nobody is questioning the use of PED's, especially after Vada testing was taken off the table. To me, it seems like he was on something. Compare Manny last night to the Manny that fought Horn a few years back, or even the one who fought Broner. He looked stronger, much more stamina, and lighting fast. He looked like he was a decade younger. Athletes don't become physically better in their 40's. A pitcher doesn't throw for 94 MPH at 32, and at 42 cranks it up to 97.

I'm not trying to hate on Manny, nor is it sour grapes from betting on Thurman. I still came out ahead by little and like Manny as a fighter, plus he seems like a good guy. The level of activity he had last night, especially in the first half of the fight, and the resurgence of power/speed doesn't make sense to me, outside of PED use.
