Btw, I have a small play on Wright by decision +140, still trying to figure out what to do with it...lol

The one thing thats for sure about this fight, Winky will not stop Hopkins

Played the draw also, might just parlay Hopkins +120 with something solid down the road and cover all the possible outcomes setting up a profit either way

My plays this week are

-Fres @-260-BIG

-Wink and Wink by 1/2 pt @-110 -Med

-The over on Mtagwa/Valitierra @-165 9 1/2 rds-Med/big

I explained Fres/Elieser in an earlier post.

Like Box, I'm considering a hedge on HOP. I wagered Wink thinking the odds would sway heavily on him by fight time, which I think they still may. I'm not overly confident w/Wink as I was. It's really a pic em any way you slice it. If forced to pick, I'll go with youth, speed, defense, workrate. Definiately a 12 rder but not worth -500. The cheap bastards are only offering +1000 on the draw.

I like the over on Mtagwa/Valtierra. IMO, -165 is pretty good value. Mtagwa can punch but Valt knows his way around the ring and knows how to go the distance. Doesn't look like he's ever been stopped and he's been in w/ a few good fighters...Chacon, Litsau, Luevano. I believe he's cagey enough to lose a 12 rder.

So, what I'm going to do is tail box and romi. Kastidis-UNDER parlay with Mtagwa-OVER. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

where`s the katsidis under line from?...i`m not finding it...

Sportsbetting or Sportsbook opened the Under 9.5 -120...the line has since moved to -155 / +115

At the same book I saw Katsidis at -295, now its -600, at 5dimes its up to -800 and the Under is much more expensive there also. You can't parlay round totals at either SB site, just sides, but their prices are usually much lower than 5dimes on the favorites. I play most of my parlays at SB for that reason. They also open the lines first which is huge.

I also took the Aussie under 9 1/2 rds @-155 @SB. The greek offers the under 6 1/2 @-110. The extra 3 rds is WELL worth the extra .35. That should be it for me. I got quite a bit on my 5 wagers. Good luck everybody.

Box, I was under the impression 5Dimes opened up first. Good to know. They do offer more betting variations. No joint in Vegas, as far as I know, lets a guy parlay a straight bet with a prop, especially in boxing. GLTA.

Easy money on Fres and the Mtagwa over. I'll jump on those bets every day of the year. I had a VERY good night and guaranteed a nice profit this week. I have a small wager on the Kasidis under and a med on Wink which I may hedge by fight time tomorrow. I'll post whether I hedge or not. Good luck everybody!

Question?

Question?

One of the big online sportsbooks had Winky by 12round decision @ +210 which I bet heavy on because I think it has very good value. Anyways, one hour later the line was at +110, so I think they made a mistake on the previous line.

Do you guys think the big sportsbook will honor the +210 line or only pay the +110 if Winky decision wins tonight?

And

Has anyone had a similair experience? Outcome?

Thanks,
Matt

Romi, good call on the over play (Mtagwa). Now I need the under with Katsidis. Reports indicate no one is taking prisoners in this one.

Romi...well done as usual...congrats

Matt...if they haven't refunded or voided the wager by the time the fight starts, they will honor the bet, they can't wait to see if it wins or not before making their decision

Frank...pinnacle and sportsbetting are the first to open the weekly lines. 5dimes waits a few hours after the lines open, if there are no immediate line moves they will mirror what SB has while lowering the juice a tad.

I have been the "lucky" recipient of reversed odds on a few occasions. @ the Greek.com I jumped on reversed wagers in the neighborhood of +300 or so and I thought they would just void the bet. They didn't. I had a very good scalp options which I chose not to take both times. I lost both wagers but I have to hand it to them for remaining true to the wager. Generally speaking, a bet will be voided before the odds are changed. If your bet hasn't been voided yet then I would say there is action.

Karmas a bitch..lol

We've had the discussion about purposely betting into a reversed line. I used to do it as well but have since realized its not a good idea to do it on a regular basis and have been warned by one my books saying they will throw me out if I do it again.
