Manfredy's corner is trainer Jesse Reid. Reid previously was in the opposite corner when Burton KO'd Gabriel Ruelas in eight. Reid will tell him Burton's weaknesses and Manfredy will exploit it. This fight is all buisness for Manfredy. He's a vet and has been taking guys like this out his whole career.

Burton is definately a longshot

In his first 15 fights all but 2 had very poor, losing records. Then he stepped up the competition in his 16ht fight and got knocked down FIVE TIMES against Eleazar Contreras, who only has 9 KO in 20 wins. His next two fights were with guys with good records, but with poor opposition.

I think he is a definite longshot against Manfredy.

Sorry for not posting earlier guys. I just got in. Had time to throw about 1/2 a unit on Burton for this fight. just for the watch factor and burtons pre-fight comments and just said hey why not. What a great fight to watch. Hope everyone else did well.

Manfredy looked extremely weak from
the beginning. If that was his best
effort I don't think we will see much
of him in the future.

Manfredy looked very weak. The way i figured it, its always worth taking a shot at a older fighter after he has recently come off a bad loss. Spady made him look real weak, and it just looked like Burton was hungry. I love that in a potential upset. Still though this was more a wager for the watch factor than anything else. BTW i think Manfredy got at least 20 seconds on the ground with the 1st knockdown, but who's counting... =)

I should have posted it. That is why im not really taking credit for it. All too often i throw money on a fight at the last minute for more of the watch factor than a real feeling on the fight. I didnt know that what i had was anything more than a little worthless bet till ehe fight began. In the future ill make a habit of posting when i do bet, but im certainly not trying to take credit for what i dont really consider a "play". I also had a bet on Lucero last week that I didn't post because it was just something to get me interested in the prefight. But, i do understand the implications of posting after a fight and it is duly noted. Take care.
