De Marco won by 10 round UD

Very nice +200 winner

Wow- no love in the boxing thread this weekend. Thanks for keeping it alive. I'll keep my winning weekend to myself as past post gets you punked.... Marquez card cancelled, but there will be a nice live dog Sunday night

Was wondering what happened to the post myself, this week??? What did you win on Punch? I won't report you to the Past Post Police. I got in on the under for Peterson to win 250 and went 1-0 this week to end the skid. With a little nudging I would have bet on Demarco. I'd seen Casal previously and was totally unimpressed w/the guy.

What a shame, the ENTIRE card on Sept 15 has been cancelled...Marquez/Juarez, Ouma/Mora, Bojado/Forbes and Guererro/Honorio. I'll be in Fl next wk so I wouldn't have been able to see it but that WAS an excellent card. Now it looks to be another quiet week.

Well, ok Romi since you asked. Things got off to a great start Friday afternoon when I actually took the Simpson KO Prop(Greek) at +800, only 25/200 but it was a start. Fights on favorites I'm okay with but not fully confident such as Witter (-185) and Escalante (-500), I often parlay to get better odds on future favorites I really like so I went Witter/Paq, Escalante/Klit. I was with you on the Peterson under, especially at the plus odds. If you read some of maxboxing this past week- Angulo's reputation was that of a relentless monster that had beens sparring hard with Roy Jones, Sergio Mora and had stopped last night's oppoonent in the amatuers. That was enough to grab the opening price at +110 to -150. I layed the wood on Mares- size, Golen Boy promoted venue, and Nacho Beristain trained was enough on that. I wasn't going to touch the Escalante under but two boxing cappers I respect were both on it and pushing me so I bit and I loved the De Marco pick . I couldn't get shite wrong other than 50 bucks on DeMarco under and 20 on some dog who barely lost in Germany.... I'm looking for the two P's, Paq and Pav to bring in over a G from 9/29- 10/6. I'm debating going to Atlantic City to see Taylor asleep on the canvas. Berto/Estrada is a nice scrap. If only Estrada had a little more pop.

Glad to heat that...congrats! I was scouting for some wagers but VERY few posts this week. I kept it to a minimum and just happy to put an end to the bleeding. Looks like it will be about 2 weeks b4 any serious betting for me. You think Pav is going to stop JT? It's a toss up for me but he took Mirandas best and dished out more. I was highly impressed. JT hasn't shown to take pressure too well. When Wink and Hop were unloading on him, he was a bit lost. I was shocked to see JT let Spinks do what he did. He showed WAYYY too much respect. Spinks even backed him up at one pt. JT also hit Ouma with everything and couldn't budge him. Convince me a little more and I may put a few on Pav. I still can't get over Floyd @-250. Had I not lost the last few weeks I'd have a bundle on it. As is, I have a few K on it. Would like to put a few more down on it though.

I will have much more on Pav to win straight up. Nothing frustrates me more than picking the winner in a tough fights, but losing because I got greedy on specifis. But I will add some spice on Pav inside. I just think Pav is the real deal and has physical tools that Taylor has not had to deal with in his pro career. I should mention that I've been burnt going against fighters I don't care for (Spinks) I'm not a big fan of Taylor's and think the powers to be have helped him a bit, but HBO is now realizing he's not the gem they were hoping. Past Post Police- Triple P, Romi?. You have a few K on Floyd. So how do you feel about Floyd being in some dance contest up until two weeks before fight time :scared

punchy...I'm gonna mention a few things and then we're gonna squash the past post subject for good

I don't understand why you don't just post your plays before the fights. If you are as good as you say you are, and you actually play what you say you played, then there's no reason not to post the plays before the fights go off.

Since I started betting boxing over 5 years ago, I have posted almost 500 winners in this forum...before the fights started. Thats why it bothers me when you come in after the fact and post your plays when you win. And thats why you can't call me a hypocrit when I occasionally mix in a past post with all my legitimate plays. When you have posted that many winners and helped that many guys win that much money, then you can do whatever you want and I won't give a rats ass.

Its seems like most of the plays you post here are past posts, and even when you have some very solid underdog plays like you had this week...you still don't post them...I don't get it. All I ask is that you post some of those plays before the fights start.

Congrats on the big week

I didn't realize it was going to be up to 2 wks prior to the fight. That's pushing it a little. I don't think it's such a hot idea and IMO his people should have nixed the dancing deal. Too much of a distraction especially right before such a big fight. You would think he would want at least one solid month to be ready mentally and physically. Floyd has never been one to be unprepared so I'd doubt he won't be fully prepared for Hatton but nonetheless, I don't think it's helping his cause. I'm hoping he shows up pissed off w/a big chip on his shoulder as when he fought Arturo. I also hope he realizes Hatton is a much better fighter than Gatti. I still like Floyd and the odds but there is a little cause for concern in that he might be taking Hatton a little too lightly.

I only layed out my past posts this week because I was specifically asked and I think the only other time I did it was the one that got us going on this. I agree, it's kind of lame and I won't be doing it anymore but I've no reason to lie. I have laid out there some good info such as the +800 on Penalosa being a joke..... When the thread was dead last week , I put out the Urango pick at plus #, said I loved Victor Ortiz, suggested Klit decision...among many others. I've suggested more winners than losers. Madjacks boxing is kind of your show and I commend you for putting it out there..... I think I'm a bit more of a selfish prick than you are. I put a lot of time/thought/research and I'm not convinced I should lay everything out there so some lame dude who could give two shites about boxing can just ride my efforts. I won't past post anymore and I'll put out some winners, maybe just not all of them. I'll leave with this. I think Arce's opponent next week is a poor choice coming of a beating in his last fight.
