The 168-pound unification showdown between Alvarez and Saunders will take place at AT&T Stadium, Arlington, Texas. The venue will be fully compliant with the latest COVID-19 pandemic guidelines. It will be the second time Canelo has fought at the venue and Saunders' first appearance there

Floyd "Money" Mayweather absolutely dominated Saul "Canelo" Alvarez by a majority decision of 114-114, 116-112, 117-111 on Saturday night.

................

hmmm

I remember this fight. Canelo could nothing with Floyd . Canelo looked bad

Canelo has a good chin however. A punk would have ate a KO from Floyd .

He is built to go the 12 round distance in this Saunders fight.

I seriously doubt that Saunders can KO Canelo in this fight.

I am paying a hundred that he has a fighters chance.

Billy Joe has boxing skill's no doubt, he's a southpaw and Canela don't play that shit.

Billy Joes would rather die than lose attitude may work for him. He will not go down. Maybe a lot of ring work running in circles staying away from body shots until round 11

I have seen Canelo over the years lay back and coast to victory. Hoping that happens in this fight.

Jacobs gives Canelo all he can handle from the right side of the plate

If you watch any of this , concentrate on round 12.

Canelo takes some hard shots and I really didn't see him increase his effort during this last round.

Another close one for Canelo

hey,it`s not a ton of money,so what the heck,right?..decent risk/reward ratio......one thing though,scott...this is being held in texas in front of 70,000 rabid, mostly canelo partisans....if this were held at manchester or wembley i would think it might be more worthy of taking a flyer.....

i think saunders would have to win comfortably to be given a decision here..go watch the highlights from saunders vs chris eubanks jr on youtube....it was close....eubanks just mostly ignored saunders power(or lack thereof) and walked through him and almost won.....on the plus side,i don`t see alvarez throwing caution to the wind like eubanks did... that said, being methodical against a cutie like saunders might give saunders the chance to look quicker and flashier....

i just can`t get a handle on just how good saunders is....there are no kovalevs/golovkins/jacobs/laras/cottos on his resume....outside of calzaghe and froch(to a lesser extent),the british boxing scene(as rabid as their fans are) just never grabbed me collectively(quality-wise)...but who knows?.....i haven`t been following as closely as i used to

g.l...

i guess billy joe had second thoughts on dying inside the ring...

hey,he has options....he can always go back to the u.k. and fight meghan markle for the commonwealth title(she can be pretty vicious when money`s on the line)...

This was very prophetic.

I think that if this had been in the UK, Billy might have turned the other cheek.
