I"m thinking that if a certain person with inside info who is sharp -- didn't sell his picks we wouldn't have to wait until Friday aftternoon to get the boxing odds.

Just my gut on why the odds come out later and later... :0003

No lines

No lines

Have no clue who you are talking about(wish I knew), but I'd say most guys, would, if they could, sell picks/make cash if there was someone willing to pay them. Would'nt you? Not sure that is why anyway. I drive all over Vegas to sports books looking for lines. The major mega bull shit fights are lined months in advance. I mean, I could not find a line, at a casino, that was hosting a damn fight. These small venue/club fight deals make sports books nervous. They don't have all the desired info and don't want to risk a lot of exposure on what they may feel is an unknown commodity. Just my 3 cents.

heads up...

Costa Rica's been having problems lately with INET with the bad storms. Powers been out and just came up....I'd say O/U on when they go live is probly about an hour...

..nothing to do with conspiracies...but on same note I dont care to rush just to have some other donkeys copy the lines to satisfy the minority. 2000-2011... never been week I didnt put up fights..

dont blame the touts..the players..the books...blame mother nature...

peace and good luck..

More instability reported
in Caribbean and Atlantic

8-19-2011 By the A.M. Costa Rica staff

The rainy season is back after a brief break in the first two weeks of the month.

Extended forecasts show a 40 to 50 percent chance of thunderstorms in the Central Valley for the next seven days.

Meanwhile, yet another tropical wave has been detected off West Africa. It is headed this way. And a low pressure area off the coast of Honduras and Nicaragua has turned into the eighth tropical depression of the season.

The Instituto Meteorol?gico Nacional said that weather today would be typical for the season with hot mornings turning to thunderstorms in the afternoon on the Pacific coast and the Central Valley. This is the time of year when the Caribbean coast gets less rain, but some storms are predicted in the mountains there.

The weather institute expects the storms to continue into the night in the central and south Pacific coast.

Guatemala has declared a tropical storm watch due to the depression headed towards its Caribbean coast. The U.S. National Hurricane Center said that tropical storm force winds are likely along the coast of Honduras and its bay islands.

The Weather Underground, the meteorological service associated with A.M. Costa Rica, predicts thunderstorms for the next seven days in the Central Valley. In addition to the tropical depression northeast of Costa Rica, there are two separate tropical waves bringing low pressure into the Atlantic.

The country is moving into the wetter months of September, October and November.

Hail accompanied storms Thursday in San Pedro and other parts of the Central Valley.

for the skeptics...^

I wish I was a linemaker..These other sites that just wait to copy your lines should hire me and I'll set the lines for them..What a dream job.Researching the sports you love and setting the lines..I would move to any of these islands to do this job.I've been to Jamaica twice and i think one of the books is in Montego Bay.I've also been to Antigua and i think they have one also..Man i think i have a new life goal.I make a nice living in western ny but do not have a passion for what i do..

I wish everyone had your ambition...would open door for me to retire , bet 1-2 bouts a week, and still live well.

Not that it hasnt been said 1000x before......"Its alot easier to spot a bad line..or anticipate movement, than it is to set a good line..one that generates two way action."

I learned that lesson hard way omn more than one occassion...41 years young (old)..

I'm sure theres books out there hiring with MMA on the rise...but loss of USA market to offshores is always problematic if you wanna make living.

I am in a suburb close to the Rochester area.In between Buffalo and Syracuse.I imagine it would be tough to set a line that draws equall action so the juice is at a maximum level. It would be way diffrent than betting. The wife and i love the carribean so much weve been 4 times in 6 years and always talked about moving there someday.Do you have to adjust the lines as money comes in or does a computer program do that as needed?

I like Lundy at current odds (around -170), he should get the job done. :popcorn2

Cheers

I really like Lundy as long as he does not fade down the stretch. He is younger so if he does fade that means Diaz has been pressuring him round by round which i dont see happening.I read that he was sick before the Molina fight, throwing up beforehand. If thats true and thats a big if then that explains why..I also Like Andrade. I just dont think Brewer can catch lightning in a bottle twice.Andrade will be a Parlay filler for sure..

Agreed, in addition all over lines look good to me as long as you can get a good price.
