Ok, folks here the first one for Boxing day:

Gunners visiting the Addicks after being defeated in the last 3
premier league matches (Bolton, Newcastle and Chelsea) and a
weak performance last Wednesday in the Carling Cup they are
looking to win this match.

I must admit that playing Chelsea last Sunday they weren't looking
bad at all and when van Persie's goal wasn't rejected this had been
a different game and in the Carling Cup they played with a B-team
and I think coach Wenger under estimated Doncaster a little bit and
was lucky to come away. Further in this match Quincy Owusu-Abeyie
and Robin van Persie, were injured in this match and Quincy will be
off for 1 month and van Persie is doubtful to play with a knee injury and
Thierry Henry is also facing a small injury. (may be they start with
Bergkamp and Pires)

The Addicks won twice at home but were last weekend defeated by Wigan
by 3-0 but have as good news that attacking midfielder Jason Euell and striker
Kevin Lisbie are fit again and they will be inspired by the Valley crowed on
Boxing day

Last time they met was on New Year's day and the Gunners left the Valley
with a 3-1 win......

Ok here we go with the 2nd game I looked on together with my Dutch capper;

Feyenoord vs. AZ Alkmaar

We don't know why the books made AZ the big dog at +275, but if we have a look on both teams and with Feyenoord losing last Sunday from ADO the Hague and last Wednesday from RODA JC in the Gatorade Cup.

AZ Alkmaar beat in the last 3 plays Grasshopers(UEFA CUP), Twente and
NEC (Gatorade CUP).

Of course Feyenoord is playing at home so we will play as follow:

2* AZ Alkmaar +0.5 -117
1* AZ Alkmaar + 275

Will continue posting tomorrow

Good Luck and a merry X-mas for all of you

Ok, here is my last write up for Boxing day's soccer plays:

ENGLISH - PREMIERSHIP

10.00am ET
Liverpool vs. Newcastle United

Recommended Play: Liverpool -0.5 and - 1 -123 (3*)

In this match we will see the return of Michael Owen on Anfield after 18
months, but for the Liverpool fans in the wrong shirt. Jamie Carragher
who is playing defensive against Michael Owen will have a hard job
to keep Owen off scoring, but I think Carragher will keep it all under
control and be the winner on the end of the game.

Liverpool have won their last seven Barclays Premiership games and
conceded just one goal - against Sao Paulo in the World Club Championship
Final in Japan - in their last 12 in all competitions and will win this game and
keep up the race for 2nd place with Manchester United in the Premier league.

Good Luck and a merry X-mas
