like the odds here....most boxing followers are familiar with wayne mccullough(the pocket rocket)....he has lost title fights to naseem hamed(featherweight) and eric morales(super bantam)....mccullough was bantamweight champ for a while a few years back....he had some issues and was forced to suspend his career due to a syst in his brain(or something-this was after he lost the title to old warhorse daniel zaragosa)...he has been determined to be o.k. to fight and has won 3 in a row....he is a very tough fellow who punches in bunches but doesn`t hit hard(and has never won any titles above bantamweight).....this lack of punching power is exaserbated by moving up from bantamweight to featherweight....he is irish and is now going to scotland to fight scottish champ scott harrison....harrison is a good tough little fighter who has one loss(early in his career).... harrison is a natural featherweight who recently beat very tough julio pablo chacon(was 44-1 going into the fight)by unanimous decision...not up to snuff on harrison but i understand he is tough,a hard worker and should not be in any danger of being stopped by light punching mccullough...he is fighting in his hometown of glasgow scotland and to my knowledge, there are currently no other scottish world champions.....this means mccullough will have a very tough time getting a decision.....we also know that mccullough is famous for never being stopped...yep,morales and hamed both failed to stop mccullough in 12 round title bouts.....

you have the hometown boy,who is naturally bigger,younger(25 to mccullough`s 32),neither guy is a real big puncher(in 18 wins, harrison has only 9 k.o.`s),and the straight odds are -120 each.....

if you look a little further, you have mccullough at +205 by decision and harrison at +210 by decision....over 10.5 rounds is -200?....you get +205 and +210 on decisions,but,pay-200 on over 10.5 rounds????

i`m taking a bit of a middle here and taking both guys by decision.....there`s always the chance of a cut or some shenanigans, but,i see this as an oddsmaker mistake....mccullough is practically impossible to k.o......and i like the chances of harrison getting the decision in his hometown if the fight is even remotely close...may have a tad more on harrison..... may even put some on harrison straight up....i suspect these odds will change before fight night......just a heads up......if you bet it,g.l.....if it blows,it`s your bet:p ....i like it;)
