james toney at +170 vs vassily jirov......now at +155....sorry i didn`t post earlier.....i thought jirov might get a push in the other direction...jirov has backed out of this fight numerous times....i still question whether it happens.....jirov is naturally bigger and younger...a lefty....but,toney has always been a fantastic boxer and defensive fighter....he wants this one very badly.....jirov showed serious cracks in his last fight vs veteran jorge castro.............he was actually seriously hurt in the fight.....i think toney can outbox him and frustrate him....toney`s last hurrah....don`t think jirov is as good as some think...competition has been very poor..i see jirov coming forward,and toney doing what toney has always done best....counterpunch.. ...worth a nice shot,in my opinion...
i also think,for a much smaller shot,montell griffin +240 vs antonio tarver....tarver coming off a big stoppage of eric harding...he was getting an ass-whipping until he landed the big shot.....he probably wins this one...and may k.o. griffin....but at +240,i think griffin`s worth a smaller play....griffin just decisioned tough,tall lefty khalid jones.....he has a shot...he`s a short awkward,difficult guy to fight.....
one more on the pending list at oly that i`m looking at....as soon as they post odds,i`ll post it....i like it much more than these 2......neither of these are favorites...no guarantees.....but,honest live dogs.....more so toney...
