For what it's worth, word from the horses mouth(Cotto), as relayed to me by an official to remain unnamed, who spoke to him Saturday at the fight, says the suits are working on this one as we speak. As bad as Margarito looked versus Williams, I ain't too thrilled about his chances. Williams did have huge reach, and Cotto does not have this advantage. Cotto should be a $2 chalk.

I love this matchup and I really like Margos chances in it. I still don't think Cotto can take a good whack. Zab, and Mosley both had him a little hurt. It seems like Cotto gets stunned quite a bit when he steps it up. Margo lacks a little technically but punches like a middleweight and he gets stronger as the fight progresses. Margo is a BIG welter and I'm not so convinced Cotto can stand up to him. I would jump @+200 Margo in a heartbeat. In fact, I think he stops Cotto.

If this does get made and we see a nice # on Margarito, there may be some good value there. Also, I think Pavlik beats the snot out of Taylor AGAIN!

My feelings also. I think both fighters have some holes that with good corners could be worked on. Should be a real nice fight. Hope it comes about. Not sure why Coto would take a risk like this when he could shame Pretty boy into a mega fight but i guess Floyd is serious about taking a vacation.

I think it would go to decision, and Cotto would get it close and controversial.

Margo is easy to rob, he starts slow and would probably be a volume puncher vs Cotto with little power. Cotto's chin is shaky, but Marg isn't powerful enough to test it. His best chance is close uppercuts. It's unwise to load up against Cotto, who's powerful and fast enough to hit KO counters, especially against a slow opponent like Marg.

I tihnk it would be Cotto winning early rounds, split middle, Margo late, and Cotto gets a close decision. There is much more money to be made in PBF vs Cotto than PBF vs Marg. Its also easier to give a close loss to a fighter 35-5 than a fighter 31-0.

Marg is a good bet, but Id take Cotto, and a positive over or distance bet.

I have to disagree w/that one. Margo can definitely crack. IMO he has more pop than Corely, Torres, Mosley, Zab. I wouldn't call it 1 punch ko power but he has heavy hands nonetheless. I hope Cotto is the clear favorite but I have to agree w/the previous poster who said Margo @+140. I'll still jump on that.

This could also get lined same as Taylor-Pavlik first time. Basically a pick-em. Meanwhile, anybody got any good stuff we KNOW is going to happen? I can't find anything as I am not familiar with a lot of these guys except Tito and RJJ. And I ain't playing that abortion.

I agree with you Romi but Cotto has proved me completly wrong a couple of times so far :scared .
I think he starts faster in this fight and tags Cotto at some point.

I also like Oscar against Cotto. Speed and a nasty left hook could be Cotto's demise.
