Ortiz/Lopez

Ortiz/Lopez

If Lopez engages Ortiz in the same fashion he did Jessie Vargas, I don't see this going to the cards. No boxing; slugging/banging/haymakers. Thing is, Ortiz can crack also, and I feel is the more experienced guy/bigger puncher here. So if Lopez wants to make it a slugfest, I think Ortiz will cooperate. My play:under-10.5-even $ @ Bovada.

ortiz can get fuct in the head

too many knockdowns early, too much success for him too handle a la peterson bout

i favor the over, cuz lopez is in shape and determined

they already penciled in canelo vs vicious

Since we can't crawl inside Ortiz's head it can play out 2 ways. He can figure he has Alvarez locked in so he coasts, or, he feels he needs to look spectacular to help sell the fight. Remember, he had the mind set to fight Berto, so I think his mind is right and focused. If he looks like crap versus a guy he should dominate, who in their right mind would pay to see him get mugged by Canelo, a 154 lb. guy? I say again, if Lopez wants a war, I feel he will be saved by the corner/ref. :0003

Anybody care about FNF bout tonight? Castro doesn't look too impressive, low level brawler at best. Very plodding, slow hands, poor balance, power seems just ok.

Dallas Jr. does have a suspect beard but to me he looks 2-3 classes above Castro so I don't think it will matter. Dallas Jr. should be able to land at a prolific rate and cruise to a lopsided victory.
