I made it -220 and thought if anything I was light on it and it should come higher.
In case some of you don't know, I made the boxing #'s for years at IP, had total freedom to do so, and with reason - we made $. I left when Harrahs took over. Excerpt from a conversation with since-axed casino manager craig garland:
"For NFL props this year, we're going to do things the Harrah's way."
"You mean we're going to act like a second half line is an exotic? What about the Super Bowl?"
"We'll all use the same props, all our properties."
"You mean we'll offer a staggering 25 props in total? But I netted over 50k last season on my props. I had a hold in double digits in each of the last two years I made SB numbers."
"All our properties will offer the exact same props, no more, no less."
So, the next time someone tells you casinos are all about money, tell them "not always."
Sometimes, they're about idiots in suits and cronyism.
And apparently they do not always learn their lesson. Last time they forced walker to put up a line before he could copy an existing one from an actual bookmaker somewhere else was Lucia vs Christy. Anyone remember what happened with the # and $ there?
As to the above question on limits, last time I was there it was a dime, so multiple trips were necessary at varying lines. I had to visit them five times for Rijker . . .
