One of the strip giants posted a number on this one. I would like to see what YOU guys think the number is/should be. I will post it after I get a few opinions. I haven't seen it off-shore as of yet. They don't have Margarito-Cintron up or else I would parlay the crap out of these two.

I have to think Mos is the favorite and I would guess -180 to -220. Zabs career has been littered w/excuses and what ifs. Mos hung in tough w/Cotto and just lost it in the last couple rds. Judah was basically done by the 4-5th rd.

If Mosley hasn't aged significantly since the Cotto fight he should win this comfortably. The first 6 rounds might be close, then it's all Mosley. I look forward to props regarding Lederman's card, any good underdog for Judah ahead early or Judah +1.5. I'd imagine Judah's payday vs Mosley to be bigger than it would have been vs Margarito, so he's happy with a final big payday before relegating to ESPN.

-160 is a terrific price, even if you don't want to wager too much, you'll almost certainly be able to scalp it eventually, that line seems way too low. If a major online book opened Mosley -160, I'd expect it to be at least -250 overnight.

A sense of humor is a requirement around here! You are qualified. Really, I only make a point of it as we have to stay on top of this stuff. Peace.

It's up in vegas. If you read my first post I stated one of the strip joints hung the number up. Specifically it was the Mirage. It's probably at one of their properties, so Robert Walker, the head honcho, wants to generate interest to generate revenue. They are unpredictable here. You never know who will line what.

I intend to make some rounds Friday. Notably to the LV Hilton, who says they LOVE to take ML parlays on everything. We'll see. I know the MGM used to take 20 dimes and more. 5-10 dimes they still take pretty easy with a phone call. They have become vaginas here a little. They want everyone to just come in, play slots, and not give comps and rape everyone. Nice formula to win $, huh?. Punchy or Sonny P. probably can add some info here. Oh yea, this is at Mandalay Bay, an MGM-Mirage property, hence the posting of the #.

I made it -220 and thought if anything I was light on it and it should come higher.
In case some of you don't know, I made the boxing #'s for years at IP, had total freedom to do so, and with reason - we made $. I left when Harrahs took over. Excerpt from a conversation with since-axed casino manager craig garland:
"For NFL props this year, we're going to do things the Harrah's way."
"You mean we're going to act like a second half line is an exotic? What about the Super Bowl?"
"We'll all use the same props, all our properties."
"You mean we'll offer a staggering 25 props in total? But I netted over 50k last season on my props. I had a hold in double digits in each of the last two years I made SB numbers."
"All our properties will offer the exact same props, no more, no less."

So, the next time someone tells you casinos are all about money, tell them "not always."
Sometimes, they're about idiots in suits and cronyism.
And apparently they do not always learn their lesson. Last time they forced walker to put up a line before he could copy an existing one from an actual bookmaker somewhere else was Lucia vs Christy. Anyone remember what happened with the # and $ there?

As to the above question on limits, last time I was there it was a dime, so multiple trips were necessary at varying lines. I had to visit them five times for Rijker . . .

Really Franky, so if I walk up to the sportsbook, they'll work with me if I'm looking for a money line on boxing? Remember last time I was there, there was a line about 40 deep for the cafe. Does Hilton serve up good steaks, food for happy bettors?
