Mark Walhberg plays Mickey Ward, co-starring Cristian Bale. This I gots to see. If there ever was an example of HEART, it has to be Ward. Yea, he took too much punishment, but you got to love his courage. There was a segment on 60 Minutes Sunday about this.

Originally it was going to be directed by Aronovsky (who made Requiem for A Dream, Black Swan, and The Wrestler). But he left the project and another director took it over.
Brad Pitt was initially going to play the Christian Bale role, if I remember correctly.
The trailer didn't look too good, but I will definitely see this - gotta support Mickey Ward.

Yea; this is one of things where I'm sure Mark Walhberg, who is said to be very generous, will most likely be kind to Mickey as they are both from the same neck of the woods. Plus I don't really feature fight flicks, but this IS Mickey Ward. Between fights he used to go back to paving roads. I wish I had 1/2 the heart that guy has. Good hit on Martinez.
