This is probably a stupid question but since I don't bet on boxing all that much, I am hoping someone can answer this for me.

If I were to put money on a fighter to win by knockout and say the fight ends in a TKO is that basically the same thing or would I lose my bet?

Thanks in advance for the help :)

Most books go with "KO,TKO, or DQ" with the other option being "BY DECISION"

5dimes goes with "INSIDE DISTANCE" with the other option being "BY 12 ROUND DECISION"

A technical decision prior to the end of the fight is the only outcome that will be graded differently.

I have seen non sponsor books that offer props on the exact outcome...BY KO, BY TKO, etc.
