Chavez-UNDER-9.5-230. He is in with a TOTAL stiff.

I don't know Franks. I for one, believe jr is simply a Bob Arum creation that is riding on pops name. IMO jr is not world class. I don't know anything about the Italian but Jose celaya, (from san Jose) a c fighter, gave jr all kinds of problems. I was even considering the over @+ odds. The guy has never been stopped and he's almost as tall as jr. I was thinking it may go rds. Although I'm not impressed w/Junior, he can still bang pretty well and his liver shot could stop the kid. I'd like to hear some opinions before pulling the trigger.

I only go along with the play as I wonder what a guy will do when he faces a guy with a winning record. and not guys who have lost more fights than they won versus low level opposition. Jr is being brought along very smoothly by Arum and Chavez Sr., its obvious. This is a PPV deal, and I think the kid will try to get the pisan out of there. I have been wrong before. You are the OVER King so we see things from a different perspective, naturally. Maybe I was hasty, I don't know.

I hate to steer anybody away from a potential winner especially if you see something. I agree they are bringing jr along very carefully . I just think the kid is going to get exposed before reaching world class comp. I wish we had more info on the Italian. I'm going to stay away from it although a bit tempted on +225. Best of luck to you. You have a little less than 40 mins to get a wager in.

I saw Loriga by dec +4750! That is insane against jr. I was going to throw 20 to win nearly 1k but lines are now off. You have to think the Italian would have to knock Jr the puck out twice just to get a dec.

This is from boxrec.

"Chavez stopped him in the 9th. Cant remember the exact time.

Won it fairily easily, the Italian came forward but was too easy to hit. Chavez was in total control then slipped and looked like rolled his ankle in the 7th, which gave the Italian hope for a round, but then Chavez stepped it up a little in the 9th.

Slightly controversial, as the Italian was on a knee and looked to have got the seconds confused, as he stood up right on 10 but it was waved off. Made little difference, except to punters I guess.

All i can say is the italian kid from what i watch had no power at all and was eating a lot of punches. Chavez fell in the 6 or 7th and i wasn't sure he was gonna finish because of his ankle but he did finish. I don't think it went the whole ten but its better to be safe and find the results somewhere.

lol i was close for hardly watching it. On a replay i did see the kid on his knee and wasn't hurt at all. They must have wanted to end it for Frankie.

By the way Romi one part i watch they took the camera to his dad and Chavez old man was smoking like a madman. You think he just developed this habit after his career? Usual people quit at this age and this egghead is just starting  :mj07:

Thank goodness for twisted ankles! I thought it would be over in 6 or 7. Dumb luck.
