I don't think Arce is really that good, however, he is fighting a guy 6 1/2" shorter! A serious advantage even for him. But I won't bet the round prop as I lack the required data to do so. I also feel Marquez isn't great, but it seems the tomato can he is fighting is pretty bad. But still the 6 1/2 rounds doesn't excite me. If a wager is to be made, it seems the Abraham-Miranda bout is the one. These guys seem to REALLY have it in for each other. I think Abraham is the better of the two, but I'm eyeing the under 11 1/2. Maybe it will get stopped on cuts, or, based on the press, sheer exhaustion. This ain't an easy call, but if I had a gun to my head, I go under 11 1/2. As George Foreman likes to say, sometimes you see a boxing match, and sometimes you see a fight. This will be a fight.

Update

I'm back. I made my decision. It's Abraham inside +118. Miranda is a trial horse and he has no pedigree to speak of. He will get frustrated and lose by KO.

Miranda was rocked by Eastman twice and the second time he was saved by the bell or he would've been done. Abraham hits much harder and he's much faster than Eastman.

However

Abraham was hurt by Eastman as well, and Miranda has much more power and is much faster than East.

I've seen plenty of guys favoring the over due to the decent + money, but there's no way I'd put $$ on the Over in this fight. Miranda wants to end it as soon as possible and even if Abe wants to make it a boxing match Miranda won't let him. At some point (and it will be early) Abraham will be forced to trade and we'll find out who has the better chin.

I haven't made my final plays on this fight yet

And it is possible Miranda may land that one shot that does it for him. I just am leaning towards the under in any case. I see Miranda going for the fence as I feel he is aware he doesn't have the credentials Abraham has and WILL be outboxed. Thanks for the input.

"the bunker"
abraham hurt me before on an under..vs the aussie.....i`m giving him another shot.....lets hope all the brouhaha is for real....

under 11.5 is generous....

and how about that scale b.s. in the article over at boxingnews...

miranda wanted to weigh in..and the official scale just happens to be in abraham`s dressing room?.....`cause he wanted to weigh himself in private?......

lmao!!

then, miranda doesn`t make weight?....that stinks to high heaven....

the german boxing establishment is off the hook....

i suspect that if miranda hurts abraham severely,we`ll see a scenario play out that would would look like a combination of "corrales/castillo 1" meets "weekend at bernie`s"........

i wish i could see it....

but, something tells me that these two will be cautious and clinch ad nauseum....

still,i like the under 11.5....decent sized play...
