Dogs guys dogs, I always made money until valentines day in years past this year I decided to quit or play dogs and lineshop my :moon: off,or buy a point or two, maybe I have been lucky but the favs have been getting hurt the last week or so RIGHT?

See Ciscos Thread on results against the spread and the Tulsa thread from last night, the hook burnt alot of players in that road favorite play and some of the players on the BUCKEYES yesterday got the push because they missed the 10 or 10.5 and laid 11, it does make a difference folks.

Actually the last week has been VERY good for me, playing almost all fav's. Today seems to be the cool off.

Must admit that this year has seemed to be overall a good dog year though.

Good luck to you

RR I have noticed that 2-3 guys do rather well playing favs on here I just really like taking points myself so I look for the spots to do such, Watch the rest of this game with the crowd and now the clock is Kansas's enemy as well as the other team.

so on the road when you get down as a favorite that is 3 strikes against you laying points, number one team has a target on their back anyway they get to see everyones A game, in a game like Duke & St Johns with Duke at home no way do I play the dog I respect HCV too much just like last nite I stayed away from Hawaii yes I missed a winner but the way I look at is is a winner is worth 100 a loser not played is worth 110.

A very conservative approach by some folks judgement but I am still sitting here with a bankroll all-be-it a-small-one when some of my local buddies flame out every season.

Looks like my hedge was the wrong thing to do but will still net $$$ on this game if kansas loses 2nd half play. if the final falls on 9-10-11-12-13-14-15 with kansas on top it is a Parlay type return without the parlay type risk :)

Yep, you got this one Congratulations! Easy to say how good something is, when that particular game is winning for ya.

I had 5-0 night the other day, I could of told you how good it is to take favs.

Favs or Dogs, you look for a spot and go for it, sometimes your right, sometimes wrong.

This game is where it is because Neb. has hit 17 3 pt'ers. You can;t cap for that! If they shot their normal average, Kansas would be killing them!

If you know of a way to predict a team shooting lights out from 3 pt range, let me know :)

BTW looks like the favs are 4-3 so fat today. You and I just got to pick the right ones

Again congrats to you.

I aint no hero here if I was the guru I wouldn't have hedged the 2nd half with Kansas, please don' feel I am dogging you just trying to get the message accross on laying double digit points on the road.

I can assure you that most team's will shoot better at home than on the road.

Mich St could be had as a dog or a fav depending when and where you played it and opened as a pick em in some spots.

I played them on the ML, then hedged with INDY +3.5 shortly before tip, handicapping NO Lucky I guess.

playing NC ST-12 on the over 145 now

Best of luck to you too man:)
