Ok I just saw something I have never seen in a tennis match..........it took place in the semi finals of this tournament:

The score is 2-1 in the third set for Klahn. Alex Bogomolov Jr is serving at 30-40.
Now keep in mind I have been watching pretty much the entire match. It is a back and forth battle, long baseline rallies, nothing crazy has happened. No outburst at all, barely any yelling, maybe one "come on/fist pump" that's about it. Also no dis-agreements with any line calls, not even an argument with the umpire. As I said, pretty much nothing.
So here is what happens.....
There is a long long rally, Klahn hits a slow slice backhand down the line........it floats in the air and lands on the baseline. Alex Bogomolov Jr catches the ball after it bounces. The umpire says "Game Klahn, Klahn leads 3-1".
Alex Bogomolov Jr just stands there for 5 seconds says nothing. The crowd of maybe say 300 people says nothing, everybody is stunned that he caught the ball. The commentators are like "Did he just catch the ball?"
Alex Bogomolov Jr then walks up to the chair and says, "That was out". Trust me it was clearly in, it was a slow floating slice that clearly landed in. The umpire says "Alex that ball was clearly in."
Alex Bogomolov Jr then reaches out his hand and tries to shake the umpires hand, the umpire (and everybody else) is stunned! He shakes the umpires hand and says "I'm done."
Alex Bogomolov Jr then takes off his shirt, grabs his tennis bag and walks off the court! As he walks by the umpire he says "You fucking suck". He then walks off the court. Now keep in mind everybody is in shock, the crowd is in shock, the commentators are like "What the hell is going on?"
Alex Bogomolov Jr is nowhere to be seen and the match is done. Klahn wins.

The entire match pretty much nothing is said, and then out of nowhere Alex Bogomolov Jr catches the ball, walks up to the net, and retires:scared
One of the commentators was a former player on the tour (he played in the late 80's early 90's) I can't remember his name right now. Anyway he says the following "I have been covering the pro tour and played on the pro tour for 22 years now, I have never seen anything like this."
Yep I say that sums it up.
Alex Bogomolov Jr has to go down as either the biggest pussy in men's tennis, or he just had a psychotic break and snapped.
