Darren Holmes is pitching, and 1 of them says, "Holmes is the kind of pitcher Bobby Cox likes. One who throws strikes." I
guess that could be why Phil Garner got fired. He must have liked pitchers who didn't throw strikes.

I really enjoy listening to those guys call the games, but that was one of the dumbes things that I've ever heard.

i agree announcers can get funny. i live in st louis listen sometime when mike shannon is on the mic on the radio he makes the game entertaining especially late innings. the dumbest things i have heard so far this year is the cubs announcers you would think the cubs were an all star team. good luck
