I follow the Braves on a daily basis and their offense is pathetic......They scored 4 runs in 3 games vs the Rangers who have been a dumpster fire all year........BJ Upton has been a disaster, Dan Uggla before they released him with still a year left at 15 million:facepalm:.......I think they have scored 2 runs or less in 45 to 50% of their games
I am pretty familiar with their front office exec, F W and he and Gonzo will be Gonzo should the Braves not make the post-season, together. Trust me on this!! Trades haven't panned out and chemistry has totally sucked, along with injuries to key pitchers, their development people think pitchers are robots and you can change this and that in a delivery and it won't effect your arm, ie, Flaherty (now with A's), Medlen (2nd TJ surgery) Jair Juerrgens anyone?, I could go on and on. Now look at their offense and make up. J UP was done in AZ, he's a all or nothing swing guy, B J UP always has had a hole in his swing and it's exposed more in ATL cuz he has no passion for the game anymore, he's always been aloof with no competitive spirit.
The Braves are done and there will be no post-season for them, so the heads should roll very quickly in Hot-Lanta!!
13 Games left with Bucs, Brewers, Giants all ahead of Braves and playing better baseball, will get the cleaning house job done quickly in Atlanta by Oct 1, 2014!!

Wren made a great deal in getting Justin Upton but Wren's big money deals have been a disaster......just to name a few with Derek Lowe, Kenshin Kawakami, Dan Uggla, BJ Upton.......When you don't have an unlimited budget you just can't miss big like Wren has in free agency
Glad the Braves did not resign Brian McCann .........That would have been another big money disaster

The best signing they have had in the last 5 years is Simmons and Freeman, other than that, you have to dig hard and come up with a 40+ rounder in their closer, Kimbrel who most ML teams wrote off because he's a pip squeek 5'10, but he can throw hard, I mean hardddddddddddddddddd! And most of the time it's not very straight!! Alex Wood is the only saving grace on that staff right now and he's what you see is what you get. Harang has done much better than I imagined, but he's learned to pitch without that 97 mph fb he used to have.They need to shitcan Wren and Gonzo and start over. Maybe bring in Madden!! Rumor is, he's done in Tampa!
Don't know what they can do personnel wise because of the contracts of BJ Upton and Fuggla........Tehran, Wood, Harang, Santana have been good.......Minor has been a disappointment this year .........Have to figure out what to do with Gattis, not sure what position he can play........Have to find someone who can lead off, etc........
