Actually could have been worse, explosives were in the truck.



At least 80 dead.

no no no no! just an individual sick and estranged person
and this has nothing to do with his religion or terrorism
(at least that's what official news say here)


imo this was just a test where one idiot was fooled to test security of mass gatherings.

he had fake rifles and non functional explosives in the truck. truck was parked at closed
area nine hours before incident. when police asked about it driver said he was transporting
icecream to the area. police didn't check car any further.


so far 84 dead and 18 in critical condition

France is moving foreign legion units back to France, some units 1st time since WW1.
I guess they think police isn't enough anymore

back to duty to help police to guard and protect. my guess is army is not there to guard but solve
this terrorism problem harsh way. nothing wrong with that.

Well seeing the military there is the moderate influence in the country due to Araturk's legacy then this is a good thing it seems.
