Secret Circle 2. Vexor 3. Seeker

Trainer Bob Baffert is on record as saying his charge Secret Circle could ?be any kind? and he?ll take a step in that direction as the chalk today in this race. He will try to make it three for three, showed a new wrinkle last time coming from off the pace and he towers over these in the Beyer department with identical 97 Beyers. Beat him to cash. Vexor has only run one poor race and he had the excuse of the slop that day. Seeker has trained forwardly locally since a third in the Nashua while Holdin Bullets is the longshot ticket.

Elusive Kate 2. Somali Lemonade 3. Sweet Cat

Rivals will try to bar the door on Elusive Kate in this race. All she has done is win 4 in a row including a Group 1 since an educational debut in June. In the classy hands of John Gosden, miss is versatile and the one to deny. Barbaro fans and those of Mike Matz can pull for Somali Lemonade, who is hung out in post 14 and will need some luck from that spot. Sweet Cat just chased Lemonade home while the longshot nod goes to Irish invader Up.

Turbulent Descent 2. Great Hot 3. Tanda

The one to beat in this race, who posted a recent career best 103 Beyer taking the Grade 1 Test is Turbulent Descent. This monster was also flattered when the miss that beat her two back repeated in the Grade 1 CCA Oaks. One can still make money in this race in the gimmicks with the right prices so lets use longshot Great Hot in the second spot and Tanda with maybe Switch completing the superfecta.

Grace Hall 2. My Miss Aurelia 3. Weemissfrankie

A pair of unbeatens will put skills in this race and let?s go with the runner than figures to be the second choice, Grace Hall, who is light in the Beyer numbers but heavy in the way she seems to be improving almost hourly. The one to deny is My Miss Aurelia, who beat a short and sweet field last time controlling pace and outcome. California invader Weemissfrankie will take advantage of this field if the pace falls apart. The price pick is the lightly raced Questing.

Announce 2. Nahrain 3. Stacelita

This may be the right spot to take a shot against the likely favorite Stacelita, who is deserving, loves to win races and is coming off two Grade 1 wins. With that said, take a long look at Announce, who was just beaten by the undefeated Nahrain but has a bit more seasoning. The price in the gimmick just may be Misty for Me, who has won half of her ten starts including multiple Group 1s.

Plum Pretty 2. Royal Delta 3. Ask the Moon

On paper, this race could be a showdown just between Plum Pretty and Royal Delta, who have traded wins in the past. The edge goes to Pretty because she proved she loves the surface when winning the Kentucky Oaks here in May. Ask the Moon threw in a clinker last time but has two Grade 1 wins this year. Those looking in search of value, could probably do worse than the ultra consistent Ultra Blend.
