The Brewers will crush the Cubs tonight. Cubs coming off a very emotional series with the Cards, Brewers hate the Cubs and always play them tough. Sheets has a great record against the Cubs and is always pumped against them. Cruz not bad, but Brewers have hit him in the past.

Simply great value at +100 with Infinity. 10 Units (1 unit = $100).

What do you all think about this?

Good luck to everyone tonight.

Cheers,

Kdogg.....

Kdogg.....

Why would you say that? I'm very new to handicapping bases, so I'm especially interested in what the forum here thinks. Madjacks is such a great place for gamblers to visit I wanted to see if I could make a contribution.

I would be interested in hearing why my thinking might be wrong? It just seems to me that the wrong team is favored in this match-up. I think the Brewers should be -125/-130 in this spot. Just trying to focus on value.

Thoughts?

Cheers,

Englishman

ignore the wisecracks, sheets is a decent value in this situation. g/l with your play.

just on the set line alone...IMO its brewers or nothing...most people would look at this line and simply say cubs only minus 120???...against brewers what a gift..sheets has good over all record vs cubs....

what bothers me..are the recent moves by the brewers getting rid of some arms in thier pen.....nothing bothers me more than to be winning a game like 4-2 the whole game going into the late innings and the pen blows it...

not much help..but just my 2 cents...good luck tonight..

The same thinking that kept me off Atl got me on CC tonight. Sheets had a great game against the Cubs last time out. Much better than his current ERA. That is usually followed by a sub par performance. Perez in his last game against Atl had a 26 ERA and today looked like a Cy Young winner. Good luck on your play regardless.

FWIW, listening to the Chicago local sports radio on the way from work, seems like half of Chicago is on their way to Miller park tonite. Won't be surprised to hear more cheers for the Cubbies than the Brewers in the game tonite.

Come Sunday, the Miller Park is gonna be nothing but Cubbie fans, since the Packers will be playing their season opener at home. No one will be there to watch the Brewers play.

Good luck tonite!

Cooz and all....

Cooz and all....

Thanks for your input, I appreciate it. Regarding the bullpens, I think the Cubbies has just been shot to pieces lately, so they won't have an advantage there.

Good luck to all, but I really am hung up on the +100. I really believe that, empirically, the Brewers win two out of three in this spot, so +100 is real value.

Its the value that I really appreciate here.

Cheers,

I'm not saying it was a bad pick, but to place a g-note on a team that is almost in last place, against a team trying to win the pennant, thats tough. but good luck to ya. sheets didnt look good that first inning though.

But they have been the hottest team in bases for three weeks, and that has to have some weight.

(This game showed me no value tonight.)
