I used to refer to Brian Kelly as a dick and a murderer to get under the skin of my Notre Dame alumni friends in Nola, but I now absolve him of any blame for that incident and look forward to neutralish site game between Florida State/LSU in the Superdome week 1:00hour

That is so weird that you would say that on the same day we welcomed Lincoln Riley back to being a Red Raider (albeit in South Central LA)

I had no idea Riley was part of the Mike Leach coaching tree, but I do know that all major college football roads run through Lubbock

Lincoln Riley was a QB and graduated from Tech - He backed up Kliff Kingsbury & BJ Symmons and was a local boy from Muleshoe TX. He chose to walk on at Tech instead of accepting scholarship offers to smaller schools.

I know many are kicking ND for not bringing in Fickell, but Freeman brought with him continuity of the remaining staff staying intact. What ND has been doing is working, so why reinvent with Fickell?

Let?s hope Kelly and Freeman square off in the playoffs soon

Yep. The transfer portal and coaching carrousel are terrible for the sport. Early signing period Should probably be done away with to avoid this type of nonsense at the end of the regular season.

Why? Sports are no longer about sports. It's only about $$$. We all wish it was the way it used it to be...Those days are long gone.

Turning back the clock completely is not feasible, but removal of this early signing period will help eliminate coaching changes after last regular season game. My take is either eliminate it or keep it and accept that coaching changes the Will occur annually this week. In case of the latter, someone pls send some Vagisil to wolken, Dodd, Wetzel and all the other virtue signalers
