BTC as a % of your Portfolio

I was curious if the more experienced traders have a minimum % they like to keep in BTC. I'm 100% in alts but figure maybe I should think about moving some of each coin into BTC to prepare myself. Thanks.

half of my bag is BTC+XMR, then +25 alts

alts together have been outperforming both by wide margin since december

I am at 60% Alts 40% BTC. BTC is the Elephant in the Room. If BTC shows signs of mooning I will move to 50/50. I will not get caught with my pants down again. Have been banking profit to BTC and a percentage of that to Fiat.

You know a lot more than I do but I was thinking the exact opposite. Getting out of all my shitcoins and getting back into btc 100%. I'm way up but losing ~ 20% and still dropping the last 2 days blows.

I took some off my bags, but I?m only holding shitcoins right now because I don?t want to make a short term gains tax mess. I am just hoping the landing is soft when btc moves. We have also seen much better alt bounce backs so maybe not as bad as previously.

i can't believe it still sits at $5.8b market cap compared to all these shitcoins that are planning to do something that fifty other coins are doing already. XMR is very good product and currency already.
