You didnt miss anything. We drove there and was told they cancelled it because of the "blizzard" that was suppose to happen. The lady wasnt to happy about having to do that. They e-mailed everyone that pre-signed up Sat night. I didnt pre-sign so I didnt know about the cancellation. They rescheduled it for April 1st.

Found out last night that there is a bar in Racine (off Hwy 20) called Scores that is having one this Sat at noon. Its $50 to enter and 2 rebuys allowed 1st hour for $20 each. The bar owners brother told us they are expecting around 60 people to show so we will give that one a try. Its a benefit for a girl that has leukemia.

Edited the buy in amount.

No..I like to sit around and sip on fu-fu drinks. Cant stand the taste of beer. While out in vegas for the superbowl I drank beer so I could be one of the guys. Thats why they were going down so fast.:toast:

Never played at Patowatomi. Ive talked to people that have played there and they vowed never to go back. They said its more of a crap shoot..you have alot of people chasing to the river because its a 2-4 limit game. These are the same people that shouldnt have been in after the flop but stayed because of the low limits. I would be pissed if that happened to me a few times and I got beat because of that type of play. Outplay me with a good hand or bluff..no problem.

Thats why I like to play tourneys. Most wont chase (especially in the beginning) because they dont want to be put all in. Plus nobody wants to be the 1st out to take the walk of shame...especially after chasing with crappy cards.

I played 2-4 limit there once, and this description is DEAD ON to my experience. Didn't play any other limits or NL or any other games, though. This was also in late 2004, so I'm not sure if they expanded or have more tables/limits and what not.

50 people entered the tourney yesterday. I came in 18th. Was lucky to last that long..completely card dead. Oh well...still had a good time. Paid out top 7 spots with 1st taking $900.

We then sat around for the next 6 hours playing cash games. Ended up down a little for the day.

Well..its time to grab a pillow and get off to work so I can get in a couple of naps today.
