I don't feel silly either; maybe a little stupid for underestimating the Bucs and overestimating the Canes. I think USC beats them if they play next week. But they won't and we will never know. Congrats to a gritty team deserving of national championship.

The fact that a team loses has no bearing on who would win a playoff in college football. The only thing an undefeated season gets you is a higher ranking. We are talking about who might win if they played next week. The two losses USC had have nothing to do with that. If that was the case, why play the game tonite? OSU had 3 or more losses last year when Miami didn't lose a game. Did that make Miami the best team? Does the #1 seed win every Super Bowl? Every NBA final? How about NCAA hoops? Do they give the championship to any team that goes undefeated and not bother to play the brackets? It is the OSU fans like you that cause people to root against the Buckeyes. In my post I congratulate them and say they are a deserving national champion. It is just my opinion that USC would beat them. The bs about having two losses has absolutely nothing to do with any game they might play. Come up with a better reason than that if you want to whine.

hey in a way its ok that Ohio St won....that loss by Miami kept Toledo #2 on the all time winning streak at 35 (1969 -71)

Really gald they won, decided at the last minute to play em and got money for it could have had alot more if they could have stopped tha pass. see ya in another 30 years
