Tampa Bay simply blew it yesterday. Tampa wanted to win the game to gain a psychological edge over Philly. They were up comfortably, until Andy Reed ripped into his offensive coordinator and demanded him to open up the offense. You could see that Philly's backups completely shut down Tampa's backups who were playing with former starting QB Shaun King. The level of intensity that Philly was playing with was unbelievable, and this was all to send the BUCS a message like " YOUR OUR BITCHES AND WE OWN YOU"
If you could see Mcnabb, and company dancing on the sidelines, they were celebrating in jubilation as if they won the Super Bowl. Look at the quiet BUCS sideline, is was if Tony Dungy had been fired, dead silence.

You could observe that after this game Philly's defensive schemes are so well planned out that the backups could run them and force the BUCS offense to go backwards on almost every play in the 2nd half.

EAGLES will beat the BUCS.

Brad Johnson has all kinds of problems with blitzing teams, due to his slow throwing release, and slow developping plays downfield. Eagles Pass D is devastating at home.

Tampa Bay will most likely be playing in weather lower than 40 degrees. They're 0-20 in those temperatures.

This BUCS team just does not win on the ROAD. Off the top of my head They lost in Green Bay, got killed in Chicago, lost in Tennesee, they are a different team on the road. Let's look at their dominating wins this year, 2 blowouts vs Minnesota and New ORleans. A win over baltimore who is average.
BUCS are just living off past years team's reputation.
Finally as I eluded to previously Philly feels that they own the BUCS mentally and that's a tough thing to overcome. Just ask Miami why they can't beat the JETS.

Eagles will roll the BUCS this weekend.

100% agree....Tony Dungy's last game will be in Philly...I know this game meant nothing, but he was outcoached again. Being a "player's coach" isn't enought anymore in this league. Tony Dungy is just a simple simple man who can't produce schemes to win..and never will. Philly will dominate the game this weekend. Giving up those 2 late td's will be a distraction this week for them. Menawhile, Philly gained even more momentum. Quick question, On, by far and away the worst call I've ever seen an official make, ( the ruled incomplete pass by philly that was clearly a catch and then a fumble), why did Dumby chellenge the call? By rule he couldn't challenge, or was he too lazy to throw the red flag?

I think Superrich put it in simple terms Dumby will get outcoached.

Philly has the better coaching staff.
Philly has the better QB.
Philly has the better defense.
Philly has the home field advantage.
Philly has the weather advantage.
Philly has the Dumby advantage.
Philly has the mental edge.
Philly has history on their side.

Don't write Tampa off too fast guys. Dungy was playing not to get hurt and didn't seem to even care about the game. The real test will be next week. I think the defense will play more like it did in the first half. Dungy probably has moving plans in the future, ie, to Minny and Spurrier has already called United Van Lines to transport his goods from Gainsville to Tampa!

Thanks to all who put valuable time and effort into sharing their picks and information....Mo

superrich, that play wasn't challengable. Just another problem with replay, since they called it incomplete, the play was dead and couldn't be challenged. The guys on ESPN didn't realize it at first either, but they corrected themselves after the commercial.

Also, that game last night didn't mean s***. It didn't matter who won the game. This doesn't give either team an edge for next week. I had Tampa, and basically got screwed, but I guess that will teach me not to bet on meaningless games. Now, whether or not Tampa can beat Philly, I personally doubt it. But that game last night did nothing.

I beg to differ as the EAGLES win yesterday put a mental block in the BUCS heads. The Bucs are their bitches, and the Eagles will show their dominance and superiority on Saturday.

Give your head a shake.
HOW CAN YOU MAKE SUCH AN IDIOTIC STATEMENT AS TB WANTED TO WIN last night.
THEY SURE WANTED TO WIN WITH 95% of their starters on the bench?

TB will cover the 3.5 next week, they are on a roll, with big wins over New Orleans (crushed them) and Baltimore (a very tough team) and made it look easy to assure themselves of a playoff spot, they did not give two shits about the outcome last night.
Hope you do not cap a game based on such a thing.

THE GAME LAST NIGHT MEANT ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.

TAMPA WILL COVER BECAUSE THEY want it more.
THEY WENT INTO ST LOUIS AND DOMINATED ON DEFENCE AND BEAT THEM. THAT IS ALL THAT NEEDS TO BE SAID ABOUT THE STRENGTH OF THEIR D.
Their offence is better than Philly right now, (see trying 8 times from the 1 yd line against SF only to throw a pick) with Alstott running like a tank.
Add in a the leading pass catching receiver in Key shawn.

Getting points is a gift with TB next week and is my play of the playoffs.

I am by no means a TB fan but this one is a gift.

My team is Green BAY and am glad I got them at 50-1 to win SB to start the year to win
17,000

TB is going to do me a favor and beat philly, go to St LOUIS and Beat them again and then go to Lambeau and lose giving the PAck the right to play for the lombardi trophy!

Smart money is on TB this week!
especially with that big fat hook on the end of the 3

Dog how good was New Orleans this year? Also Baltimore is not a very good football team.

How do you know Tampa wants it more?

Just an opinion. I'm not trying to be the thread police, or to try and tell you how your approach should be when writing a post, but....

When Madjacks works best, it is when people give their reasoning behind why they think that their side is the right side. Calling someone's statements idiotic serves no purpose and puts people on the defensive and then we get follow up posts like "we'll see on Saturday." And then the thread is dead.

Let's work together to make sure that we have covered every angle and then we can make an educated decision on who to play.

(steps off soapbox)

Love Philly due to the fact that you are able to run on the Bucs and you're not able to run on the Eagles. Home field, Weather, better quarterback and Tampa Bay's history in the playoffs all lead me to believe that Philly has enough to cover the 3. But yesterday's game did not matter at all. They were smiling coming off the field because they did their job. No one got hurt.

Just my opinion but if you are gonna try to cap this weekends playoff game based on what happened last night you could be in trouble. As someone said earlier that game meant absolutely nothing...it was a preseason game. Not saying I like the Bucs but you shouldnt use last night to judge what will happen next week.

BOBBYBLUECHIT ///// how can you say, that you can not run on the Eagles DEF. Have you read the injurie list for the Eagles. 4 of the 5 DEF lineman are hurt and 2 are out. Looked like the Giants had no problem running on them, with Barber and Dayne. Just think what Alstot and Dunn will do.

I wasn't aware of the defensive line injuries. Probably because the injury report hasn't been released, yet. Maybe your referring to the one that was released last week that also had McNabb probable with a wrist and Alstott questionable with a thumb.

I'm not sure that the Bucs running game, which caused them to lead the league in pass attempts (heard that stat, not verified) can be relied on to carry a team against a defense as formidable as the Eagles.

Would love to hear your thought regarding how they will be able to run on this defense (or pass)or to hear more witty wordplays on my screenname.

BUCS are defenitely EAGLES BITCHES

i nailed this game dead on and just another example of SOFT PUBLIC REASONING for taking Tampa a team that couldn't even score a touchdown in their last 2 playoff games. Congrats to all who backed the Eagles.
