Bud Shoot out

First one of the year. Restrictor plate races are always a crap shoot. Unless your in the 8. Not much value with the favs. I'm going for a couple of longshots. With only 20 + cars in the field they really have a much better shot in the shoot out than the 500. But we are getting about the same odds as the 500.

These are half unit plays.

Casey Mears 50-1 1/2 unit
Brian Vickers 40-1 1/2 unit
J. nemechek 25-1 1/2 unit


My book has Junior at 5-2. just not enough value for me.

After watching the Shoot Out I am going to take Biffle at 26/1 (SIA) for the 500. He ran well untill he got loose at the end. I look for Biffle to have a good year.

I just checked Olympic Sportsbook. They have Jimmy Johnson at 24/1 to win the 500
