PIT:
From their last game, many of Pit players stated that they wanted to build a winning tradition at the new stadium. Cowher said "he hopes the Steelers can create a Heinz Field identity, but it will only happen if it is fueled by victories. Playing in Pittsburgh has long been a great advantage for the Steelers. We hope to create that same type of envirnment at Heinz Field."
I expect Pit to want to continue to win, even in the preseason.
BUF:
Newly signed QB Travis Brown, cut by Sea, played in his first full workout at Pit. He will compete with QB Hawley for the #3 QB job. HE IS EXPECTED TO SEE EXTENSIVE PLAYING TIME AT PIT. QB Johnson will only be in for 3 series, Van Pelt may not play much, and Hawley & Brown should get a lot of time.
PIT -3 should be the play.

i am inclined to go with the over on this one, and am hoping for a real tight game, one way or the other, in the area of 22-20 or so.

it is clear that pitt loves to take a win whenever they can, and pre-season is one of their golden opportunities.

buffalo, on the other hand, has to get this crew in a winning mode now, or else it will be a long wait to gel this team. 2 tds each and a few fgs, maybe even a 20-20 tie?
