My observations for this weeks game.Buffalo QB Beldsoe looks very comfortable back in the pocket thanks to the offensive line. The Bills Have yet to establish a running game. Why would you run when you can pass? There's the problem.I think Buff. has had it to easy the first two weeks, abandoning the running game for passing. Can you blame them?If it's working why change it.I think Miami will come after Bledsoe hard. They're not going to give him the time he needs. They are going to be forced into some type of running game.Going to be a long day on the field for both teams. I like the under 41.Don't see much offense by either team.Any comments welcome.

Before the line came out myself and some others where guessing on the line and we figured a PK. When I saw Buffalo +3 I was a little shocked. This is a different team that the Bills have put on the field. Their offensive line looks 10X's better from last year. I do agree with the running game, big question mark. Travis Henry is a good runner but is fumble prone and the O-line is better at pass blocking. They do have the addition of Sam Gash blocking, probally the best in the league.

Jacksonville ran the ball well on Buffalo. Will Ricky Williams do the same? Miami lost to the Texans, why? Miami does not want to go down 2 games to Buffalo and still have to play them in Buffalo in Dec.

You drinkin Stomie?

You drinkin Stomie?

Did you REALLY say Sam Gash was the BEST blocker in the league?????
That is quite a stretch dude. I guess the other 4 teams that cut him didnt agree with you. I love Miami in this one. Wannstedt has said several times since Monday that they are going to start leaning on Ricky to tote the rock more and more. That spells trouble for Buffalo- also, dont expect Henry to find much room against what has been traditionally the BEST home run defense in the month of september.
I know your a Buffalo homer, but you gotta be realistic here Stomie.
either way GL:drinky:

How did you know - Busch Light:toast:

As for Sam Gash he wasn't cut because he isn't good. He had arthroscopic ankle surgery in January. But he?s worth the risk. He certainly was good in his two seasons for the Bills in 1998 and ?99, making the Pro Bowl each season. He's also a leadership presence and a special teams addition. I won't agrue with you because I really don't realistically care. :D

Way too much talk about those "upstart" Bills for my liking. It seems EVERYONE in this neck of the woods is jumpin in on Buff, SO, that points me towards the Fish in this spot. I expect some really tough rushing yardage by both teams, but expect Ricky to tire out the bills "D" in the 2nd half..
Small play for me would be Miami (-3 EVEN)
Good Luck on this one< I see 1 or 2 others that I shall be "pulling the trigger " on......GO SEATTLE !!!!!!!!!

i think it all comes down to how good the bills D is against the run, it will be a low scoring game but well see how good this D really is, Miami will run and run because they cant pass and Buffalo knows this.

Game analysis...

Game analysis...

Miami has the home field and are traditionally tough in September...adavantage Miami

Offense - advantage Bills...look for only a bit more running game this week...Travis Henry has not exactly lit it up, although he has scored a bunch of TDs...I will take Bledsoe over any of the QB's on Miami...

Defense - last year, advantage would clearly go to Dolphins...but Buffalo has toughened up quite a bit...but will be tested by Ricky Williams - but Takeo Spikes and company may be able to slow him down a bit...advantage [EVEN]

Special teams - traditonally a Bills weakness. Their new punter now leads the league with a 57+ yard average...and their place kicker has looked very good. It is on their coverage teams that they tend to fall apart, but this has been worked on a lot... Advantage [EVEN]

Coaching - Wanstadt has yet to prove he can get his team together...Williams has a great offensive coordinator...and some weapons...lets hope he does not get too conservative...advantage Bills

Intangibles...Miami is already in what they consider a "must win" game...Bills need only look at the 2-0 teams of last year - 6 of them I think - to realize that there is much work to be done - only one of the 2-0 teams from last season made the play-offs...and also face a very tough Eagles squad next week...a 2-2 finish to the first 4 games would negate all the good work they have done so far - so look for the Bills to be pumped for this one...with Moulds having a big day...Advantage Miami

The public perception is probably to take the Dolphins and lay the 3 points - they are a heavily bet team, much like Dallas, the Giants, and the Raiders...which is why I am wondering why this line is only 3 points...

I will probably use this game as a "wheel" on a teaser...
Bills +10 and several other teams...should be a whale of a game...

Lorenzo Neal is the best blocking back in the league. IMO of course!!;) ;) :D

Miami would have layed more than 3 in this one on week 1, won't want to start out 0-2 at home, 2nd Florida trip in 2 weeks for Bills. I'me taking the Fins.GL
