PIT is getting too much respect. Sure the team was tearing it up for a while after Lemieux?s return, but against a team like Buffalo with their reliance on solid defense, these lines are just too much? BUF has the fewest goals allowed this season and have given up only 0.8 GPG over their L5. PIT has won just 4 of their L10, and only one of those was against a team above .500 (NJ). BUF conversely has won 7 of 10, outscoring their opponents by an average of over 2 goals per game over that span. Garth Snow has played goal for PIT the three meetings btw these two this year, which have yielded a helluva lot of goals (7+ per game) but he?s injured so look for Aubin here which should bring that total down a bit? Aubin is giving up 3.0 GPG over his L5 starts?Hasek far, far fewer?0.8 in fact?the Czech slinky is on a mission. Alexi Kovalev is out too, suspended after impersonating an NBA player, so that removes PIT?s #3 scorer from the mix.
