Steve Didn't know if you were aware but Herron's reason for limited schedule of late is he was diagnosised with Lymes disease.
Just thought I'd pass it along.

Between Green Bay and Iowa City
Caveat: The Ryder Cup still looms large, but the PGA Championship is always a bold line of demarcation for me in turning my attention to football, as a sports fan and a handicapper, on a daily basis. I was in the game at the NEC last week, but my wagers and posts will be tapering off dramatically, with a corresponding waning in the depth of my reasearch, efforts to scour for angles, and attention to detail in gleaning whatever insights my imagination can spin. But, I won't be shy when and if I believe an insight or angle has caught my eye, or in looking at posts by the crew here in the forum to coattail to raise my interest level. Cheers!

Yes that is what happened to Tim Simpson. He was never the same player afterwards. He woke up some days and couldnt even hold a cup of coffee, bc his hands would shake so bad. Its too bad, Johnny Miller still swears his is the best iron player he has ever seen. Tim is still trying to make a comeback though.

Tournament Matchups
Fred Couples -110 over Jerry Kelly (sportingbet)
--ties lose.

First Round 3-Balls
Len Mattiace +162 over Roberts/Tataurangi (sportingbet)
Joey Sindelar +225 over Rollins/Sutton (bet365)
Joe Durant +150 over Smith/Burns (bet365)

--I do like some of the matchups this week, but the price isn't worth a play. I do see some value in the 3-Balls, and may add one or two more in the morning.

It should be a wide open tournament. GL.

Adding
2nd Round 3-Balls
Sindelar +150 overRollins/Sutton (sportingbet)
Haas +162 over Mahan/Wilson (bet365)
-- Small profit on the 3-balls yesterday thanks to Sindelar, and I'll come back and take him again today even with the adjusted odds. Rollins still does not have a low round on this course, and I see no reason why that will change today. Sutton is capable, though. I like Haas today to play steady and stay under the cut line. After last week, Mahan could fade a little, especially if things don't go well early.

It was Herron's Tourney to Win. He misses a 3 ft Putt, right after Lanny gives him the kiss the death. After nearly driving the 15th, he has to make a 7 ft for par. Hits it in the Water for a double at 17. Birdies 18 to force the Playoff.

Kirt bogies 18 to tie his match.

Crap, I'm done whining!!!

I was pulling for you Steve--was thinking whole time that I was glad I made remark about his lymes disease after you were down or would have felt terrible swaying you off what should have been a winner.
