This is blast from the past week. A golfer who plays this course fairly well and is warming up decently for the last few weeks. He's won, one time on tour, and I had him at a pretty good payoff, 2005. A busy golfer, who plays 30 times a year, and has the perfect height, 6-2, perfect weight, 200, and perfect age, 28. I used to play on this guy often, but not in the last year or so.

Lucas Glover to win 51.00

72 holes, consistantly with---

Glover over Pernice -110

Lucas is hitting some sort of stride recently, while Pernice seems bored with the whole golf tour bit. Especially since he has no chance to win, no chance for the Ryder cup, no chance for the hall of fame, he's just out there, it's his job.

Round 1 plays (2pts):

Jim Furyk to beat Justin Leonard -117 @ Pinnacle
Unlike Leonard who has only played here once since 2001, Furyk is a regular and with good reason: he has finished in the top-10 i each of the last seven years. Both are in similar current form, but that is a large edge in terms of course form

Scott Verplank to beat Heath Slocum -105 @ Five Dimes and Carib
Three missed cuts in the last four years compared to three top-10 finishes over the same period is a similarly decisive edge in this matchup

Brian Gay to beat Dean Wilson -113 @ Pinnacle [also available @ WSEX]
Primarily opposing Wilson whose three previous visits have resulted in two missed cuts and a 75th place position

Craig Kanada to beat Jonathan Wagner +105 @ Five Dimes
Will take these odds on Kanada who finished 37 places above Wagner when they both made their course debuts last year and in their 20 common events over the past year, Wagner has shot the lower 1st round score only six times

Brett Quigley to beat Brian Gay -110 @ Five Dimes
Backed Gay to beat Wilson, but he shouldn't be strong enough to also beat Quigley who has held the lead at the cut in each of the last two years here

Marco Dawson to beat Kevin Stadler -105 @ Five Dimes
With Dawson never finishing behind Stadler in this event and having finished ahead of him in four of their last five common events, there sould be some value in these odds

Outrights:

Tom Pernice(55/1) e.w.
- - One of only 3 names I circled in my initial review of the odds on Monday, I was then quite surprised in the next step to discover he's a past champion, which IMO and FWIW happens to be a theme that's played out exceptionally well this season.

Tom Gillis(300/1) e.w.
- - ridle-iculous, which is cool. :SIB

Am on Leonard to beat Kenny Perry in round one, pretty big. Frustrating Leonard today has missed like 4 putts some for birdie from 6ft or less!
Even par after 13.....gonna need a ton of luck from here :scared

Round 2 plays (2pts):

Bob Estes to beat Kevin Streelman -125 @ Five Dimes
Streelman struggled to hit the fairways and greens in the better conditions yesterday morning, so I can't see him being any better this afternoon when trying to finish ahead of Estes for just the second time in their last ten common events

Nick Watney to beat Woody Austin +105 @ Pinnacle [also available @ Unibet and WSEX]
Will take these odds on the much more in-form player - Watney has a 7-2-1 h2h record against Austin in the 2nd round this year. Austin may have impressive course form, but Watney held the lead early in 2005 and was in the fringes of contention last year until a final round 74

John Rollins to beat Charles Howell -110 @ WSEX [also available @ Pinnacle]
In the last 12 months, these players have played in 21 common events and Howell has shot the lower 2nd round score just three times. With a missed cut in his only appearance on this course in the last 4 years - whereas Rollins was 5th last year - I can't see Howell being any better today and getting underneath the cut line
