Yale -1.5 over Penn St
Penn St has already been waxed by the other co-champ Penn.Penn defense held them to 0-13 from the 3 pt line.Yale played Ok St tough the other nite.The score ended up lopsided but was a 1 pt half time score.And OSU didn't pull this game out until the end.
Yale is loaded.They have a solid backcourt and a good frontcourt.They beat the Lions here lyr by 13.It broke a big PSU non conf. home streak.Penn St will have trouble at home keeping up with the Bulldogs.Yale was 9-1 ats away.WOW.
Vandy +2 over Conn
Conn beat them bad lyr back in Hartford.Vandy is missing its 3 mousekeeters of shooters.They hit 202 tre's lyr.But playing in Memorial is a tough place.The non-conf record is unreal at 54-2.The benches are on the baseline.It's a tough place to play no matter who you are.They have beaten the Kentucky's and other SEC teams yr after yr.
Freije is a stud.At 6'9 can shoot,dribble and pass.Thorton is another inside player that could give Conn problems.They are not a very good defensive team.
Conn is loaded again.Okafor and Brown inside take up a lot of room.At gds w/Gordon,Robertson, and Taliek they can run.They still have a few players that can have breakout anytime.
Calhoun's team struggled with GW the other nite.They gave up 23 off. bds.And he is the best coach in the world teaching rebounding.Whe I was a young coach we saw him many times in clinics when he was at Northeastern.He led the nation in rebounding 3 or 4 yrs with a frontline of 6'5,6'5, and 6'6.
Conn is much more talented and a better team.But think today they struggle a little on the road.Subbing from the baseline could be to hard for them to handle.
Indy -17 over NT
NT has trouble with defense.They gave up 85 pts to Smoo the other nite.With Germaine Green hurting and Davis trying to pick up the slack they are in trouble.Stop Davis and you stop NT.And Indy plays that D.
NT doesn't have the horses to play with Indy.Love my alma mater but we are in trouble today.
Wake-Temple
Wake has Howard but they cannot shoot from the outside.Temple misses greer and Lyde big time and will have problems all yr.Maybe a lean toward the -5 pts but I'm passing.
